    • This AT-A-GLANCE Clear top was just the PERFECT solution I needed. Glad I found it.....
After reading some reviews, was worried the plastic was brittle & would break easily. After a couple months of use,... no problem. The plastic is tougher than it looks,... but if I go gorilla on it I'm sure I could break it. I really love this Bosch organizer box with the clear top. The big molded handle is also handy. I didn't buy this 'tray' to fit into a Bosch storage box,...alway intended to use it free standing (there are no latches to lock into the Bosch case system). What I needed was a solution,... the big draw was the slick design, clear lid, and customizable compartments. Not completely waterproof but water resistant. I was looking for a solution for my big collection of drill bits and other small drill parts. I have drill bits all over the place & it got to the place I couldn't find the right size or type when I needed it. Hiding them inside closed cases just didn't help. Plus I could put everything in one place, easy to see & handy to carry. This clear top was the perfect solution. With the 30 day easy return I gave it a shot. Large or small, long or short, AT A GLANCE I can see what I need. Real time saver,...and everything in one spot. Nothing lost, nothing left behind, just toss it back in the bin and ready for the next job. Easy peasy. Will definitely buy another one or two (but on sale). At the current price (about 50$) that's a steep price for my wallet. Glad to have the one I own. Will buy again on sale @ $28 range & sometimes it drops down to that lower price range on Amazon for a short couple days. The colorful removable /reconfigurable trays are handy & found things to fill up every one. BOTT LINE: Good solid construction. Plastic turned out to be stronger than anticipated. The clear top is the real draw for me. Can organize different things easily. When my wife spotted the case she tried to sneak-steal it for her sewing stuff!     • Definitely the most useful i-boxx for the l-rack/l-boxx 3d.
If you're familiar with bosch's l-boxx line then this set will not disappoint. For those that don't know, these are manufactured by Sortimo for Bosch. Sortimo is made in Germany and is a very respected brand in Europe. This tray is compatible with both the l-boxx 3d and the newly released l-rack line. The organizers inside the tray are removeable and can be reconfigured to suit the users particular needs. The organizers are also interchangeable with the ones inside the l-boxx 1a. The box could also be stored inside the l-boxx 2,3,and 4, but would render the drawer function useless in that scenario.     • Numerous Design Problems, read before purchase.
There are several key design problems with the (Bosch colored) Sortimo i-boxx product line, which is their lowest-end product: 1. You need a separate table... The i-boxx system does not have a slide-out rail option, you must pull out the entire tray, then set it down somewhere to open the lid to take anything out. No way to limit how much the lid opens also. 2. No Dimples, for No Good Reason... Unlike the Sortimo T series cases which uses IDENTICAL INSERTS, they decided to make the bottom of these cases perfectly flat instead of molding in the round dimples that would prevent the inserts from moving around. Really guys? 3. Grey Insert Mandatory... Sortimo and Bosch marketing does not mention this design flaw, but the spacing of the cases is such that you must always use at least 1 of the grey inserts along the right or left side, you cannot fill the case otherwise and given design problem #2 your inserts will move around otherwise. 4. You should never purchase the shallow version,(i-boxx-55) because you will not gain anything, as the shallow version slides into the same single spaced rack. 5. The most likely area to break (front closure tabs) are molded as part of the clear cover and not separate pieces, so if it breaks, you'll have to get a new box. 6. Again to save a few silly cents, the handle is molded as part of the lower half and the design is such that you have unusable bit of space to the front left and right. 7. There is no pre-designed helpful way to label the individual inserts. Which btw are incredibly expensive and can cost more than the case and all they are is simple injection molded plastic containers. 8. There is no gasket option, if you need to store something in a humid environment, extra dusty etc you will have to look at other options. 9. There is no way to stack them securely to carry them etc. All in all, this product was designed more as a product sales container, made as cheaply as possible with many design limitations and tradeoffs that is being sold as a thoughtfully designed german engineered system. ... show more

This whole system is great. I put my electronics pieces in it (arduino etc). You can expand it out as you want. At night if you want to be quiet you can close the lid quietly and carefully close the tabs that keep the lids closed. This is nice if you have kids or a wife who probably doesn't want to hear you click-clicking these boxes open and shut while you work (heh). ... show more
