I put this on my mostly stock 96 LT1. It added a surprising improvement in response and traffic readiness! The sound is deeper and smooth compared to stock. I've also had muffler deletes, and the Borla system will restore your lost low-end torque from those and add some... The Borla system doesn't roar, growl or have rasp, which initially disappointed me. But, it got a bit louder after a few weeks and I'm really liking it now. It also sounds better (deeper) after the car warms up. I can really tell the exhaust velocity is faster when revving the motor (in park). I wish the tips came with adjustable hangers... Mine came with no warranty card, either... The drone is lower RPM and very livable. ... show more

    • I love my Borla
I was a little hesitant buying this product due to a couple of the reviews addressing the interior noise coming form the mufflers. I went ahead and purchased the system for my 1996 Collectors Edition Vette and I love it. There is a great throaty sound now from the muffler and any new interior noise is not bad but actually sounds great especially at higher RPMs. Not mention the stainless system looks great on my car.
