  • Borla ATAK on 2018 Challenger Scat Pack 6.4L
Awesome sounding exhaust, absolutely no drone in cab, just a great throaty roar when you get on the throttle. As for the installation, its time consuming so be sure to plan for a full day of without a lift. I simply backed the car up on a set of race ramps and had plenty of clearance to crawl underneath. Definitely was more difficult but it all worked out. I did not have any CELs for the exhaust valves. One thing I will note that differs from Borlas instructions is when attaching the plastic exhaust valve controllers to the slotted connection point that simulates having a valve. Turn the small slotted circle to the left until it cant anymore (it does show a good illustration of this in the instructions) then install the plastic controllers with the springs attached (Note that the spring will not line up to the slotted circle and thats ok) But only thread the small mounting screws on just enough to hold the controllers to the exhaust do not tighten all the way. Simply plug them both back in at this point to the 3 pin connector and you should hear a loud "click" and notice the spring has automatically moved and latched itself into the slotted circle. You can then fully tighten these controllers down appropriately. I did these exact steps had the whole system bolted in and ready, I fired it up and have yet to have any CELs. Been fault free. Anyways overall its been a great system I highly recommend it if you have a 2015+ 6.4L Challenger. ... show more

  • Quality good sounding exhaust.
Quality product. Easy install. Everything fit perfectly. All hangers are located in the correct locations. The sound of the exhaust is very nice. Installed on a 2016 392 scat pak shaker. Under normal driving operations between idle and 3500 rpm it is not much louder than stock exhaust. But if you accelerate hard the exhaust is very loud. Exactly what I was looking for. Driving at a cruising speed of 70mph there is no drone. A+ exhaust!! Good job Borla!! ... show more

  • Update on system,,, new system arrived and installed now it sounds like it should. Borla handled the claim like pros. Still
Revising based on Borla customer service. Called tech support sent them a recording in 15 mins they were shipping a whole new system. That was impressive. Will update after new install. Excellent design and engineering. It all comes together perfectly. No extra wiggling or on the spot modifications needed. If you know what end of the wrench to hold you can install yourself. As for the sound, I am extremely disappointed. The drone at 1500 rpms is unbearable. It is downright obnoxious.. I was not expecting this at all and will be talking with Borla about the claims made as they are not accurate. At speed 2 k and above no issues and it brings a smile to your face. I have several late model muscle cars 15 mustang 5.0 with Roush exhaust, a Camaro with flowmaster American Thunder, of the 3 Borla is by far the worst in the drone category. Roush is the best at least of what I own. With all that Borla being by far the most expensive so when one expects to get the best when paying the most it is clearly not the case here.. ... show more

  • Now this is what it should have sounded like from factory.
Excellent sounding exhaust. You have the ability to sneak by the police but if you step on it, that's when the magic happens. Didn't take long to install, clamps make it DYI but I did find a few clamps to not snug down tight. For security purposes I suggest spot welds on all joining parts to keep someone from easily unbolting your exhaust. Did I mention great sound....! ... show more

  • Disappointed
Easy install. All parts matched up great. Was looking for a loud exhaust. This exhaust is very quiet at idle and cruise. Definitely comes alive and is just what I wanted when getting on it. Just wished it was a little more at idle and cruise. I can't complain though as borla did what they said it would do. Looking at maybe a Flowmaster or magnaflow system. ... show more

  • Great Buy!
I purchased this for my 2015 SRT 392 Challenger. Borla did a fantastic job making sure this system fit perfectly. I took my time, and was able to remove the factory system and instal the Borla in just a couple of hours. The simulators for the active exhaust work as they should. No check engine lights, rattles or leaks. The sound is incredible. Under throttle, it is mean and abrasive, at a warm idle, it's not going to drive your neighbors crazy. I absolutely love the overall quality and sound. I would buy this system again. ... show more

  • Complete and simple stock upgrade
I ordered this Borla Exhaust System to do an upgrade over the OEM Exhaust system on my 2023 Last Call Dodge Challenger 392 Scatpack. It arrived 5 days later, I took it to muffler shop, they removed the original Exhaust system within about 20 minutes, installed the new Borla system in 30 minutes, and now my "Last Call " sounds like a Beast. Don't hesitate to buy this system. It is well worth the price. Go for it. 5 stars in my book. ... show more
