I love the look of the exhaust, I love that it is American made, I love that is 304SS. I am, however disappointed in the sound. I thought it would be a little more aggressive at idle and part throttle. Basically, it sounds stock, but just a bit louder and without the deep V-8 growl most people are looking for an in aftermarket exhaust. If I had to spend the money again, it would be on the Toyota TRD exhaust. That said, the system looks awesome on the truck. I was able to install it by myself with the truck on the ground in about 2 hours, moving slow and very methodically and carefully. It is a well thought out kit, and the pieces are well made. I only had 1 issue with 1 pipe fit that needed some "persuation" from a rubber mallet to get installed. This was a bit frustrating because I had to remove the muffler and forward pipe already installed to "persuade" the pipes to fit together, and then put it back in. However, once back in, things aligned relatively easy, and fit well. The clamps are nice and very helpful, if the system ever has to come back off. You tell the quality in the cuts, the fitment of everything. Every thing really auto aligns well once all the hanger in installed. This kit will look good and last forever. That said, remember this sounds just VERY slight louder than stock at idle and part throttle. Sound pretty good wide open, but I lover a throatier V-8 sound at part throttle that this kit just does not provide. Hence 4 stars instead of 5. After living with the exhaust for 2 weeks, bumping it up to 5 stars. The sound has really grown on me. My wife likes it without being too loud. Can still talk, but have a decent sounding truck. Also, saw a couple of truck with the TRD exhaust and the Borla does look quite a bit better from the back in my opinion.

This is the best exhaust you can buy hands down for the tundra. It’s quite at cruising speeds but makes a nice sound when you get on it. Also ZERO drone to drive you mad. I’ve owned flowmaster and magnaflow systems and they are obnoxious with drone and rust rather quickly. Borla makes a superior product in fit and finish and will not rust. Install was super simple and well thought out. Do yourself a favor and just buy a Borla you won’t be disappointed.

This is my 2nd Borla system, so I knew what to expect. Top quality, materials and fitment. What I was looking for was the slightest bit of rumble without drone. Surely, feel I got it. Another thing that it seems quieter than stock at 50-55mph and part throttle. My 2021 seemed more deep and irritating than either my 2000 Chevy 6.0 or 2007 Ram Hemi that I owned. Something with harmonics or something. certainly more pronounced on this truck than previous trucks. So for me I’m pleased to say I believe this Borla is more pleasing in every sense, for me ! I'm not sure why there are so many people that are unhappy with the fact that this is not a very loud exhaust when there’s so many other options to go loud. In fact, like many, I started this and revved it a few times with just the cats. Beautiful sounding, but I would never run it that way. Surely if you want sound, uncork and uncork to find sound. Finding an exhaust that makes you smile, wife doesn't notice and kids can still sleep. Rare ! Enter Borla Touring !

I installed this on a 2010 tundra double cab w/6.5 bed. I installed the exhaust myself with no help in about 1.5 hrs everything was easy except getting the drivers side tip in the correct position so it was close to matching the passengers side. I ended up bending the hanger until it was where I wanted it. Maybe I am too particular on this, but I only wanted to do it once and has to look right. The sound is awesome and I do believe that it is comparable to the factory exhaust when idling and cruising, but get your foot in it and there is a nice tone that matches the power of the truck better than stock. I do believe that I have quicker throttle response now, but the internals of my stock muffler must be coming apart because it sure rattled like crazy when I took it off so I am sure that is probably why I can feel a difference. I am most impressed by the fact that there is no drone at highway speeds. I had a gibson exhaust on a previous Tundra and it droned like crazy this Borla kit is miles ahead of that one. I definitely would recommend this kit to Tundra owners. Install notes. I did this in my garage using a floor jack and very tall jack stands and it went very well. I had no problem getting the factory exhaust out this way. If you do it this way it worked great to support the muffler with the floor jack while I removed all the hardware and support links. I easily could of completed this in an hour if the drivers side exhaust tip placement wouldn't of slowed me down.

This is my second set of Catback dual exhaust from Borla and this set went on my 2019 Tundra, and the set before went on my 2008 Tundra The sound is perfect. they were both the touring model. Jim B

Excellent easy to install for Tundra 2017. Sound is quite until you hit it.... As an Engineer I recommend this product as it scavenges exhaust very efficiently. It provides better performance. It gives smoother throttle feel as you transition to higher speeds. Best to pair this with an air filter like K&N to complete the transition of air in and air out of the engine. It is well built and priced right on Amazon.

I installed it in my driveway in a couple hours one afternoon. It has a mellow tone when idling but roars when you put your foot into the pedal. I decided that paying the little extra for the quality of a Borla system made more sense than buying a lower priced system that would need more maintenance and most likely wouldn't last a long.
