It took less than a minute from opening the box to setting it up. It is so easy to put together. I love that the fabric can be taken off easily for a toss in the washing machine. The slant is super easy to put together and great for traveling. also easy to wash the seat area. Just have to remember to grab from lower base to move so it doesn’t come apart. Only thing I wish was that it could have an attachment for over top to hang toys from for the baby

With an 8-month-old joining our family, we've tried several types of seats for him, but he doesn't like them. It's because they constrained him so much, and he could move around as much as he wanted to. So I ordered this bouncer in hopes that he would be a little happier since it allows him to stay more elevated in a more natural sitting-up position rather than laying back. So far, we haven't had any significant issues with him fussing as much as he had before with some of the other seats that we've got him. and it seems pretty durable so far, though I have a feeling that the hinge may not be strong enough to hold his way once he gets to a certain weight limit. It says it's for up to 20 pounds, but I still question how strong and how much weight it can accept since he flails around so much. Only time will tell. I haven't had to clean it yet, so I don't know how well it stands in the washing machine. But I can only assume that it'll hold up well, given the soft type of fabric that it's made with. We also haven't noticed any sensitivity issues with the fabric irritating my baby's skin. That is a plus since he is semi-sensitive to several things. ... show more

I’m a big fan of Boon products. Some of my very favorite baby and toddler items are by this company (including the foldable tower - check it out!). Unfortunately this bouncer isn’t a favorite of mine, though I do really like it. The bouncer is a great place to sit your baby when you want to be hands free. Baby is able to kick and bounce themselves in a safe spot. The fabric of this bouncer is washable and the colors are attractive. I like that the base is heavy. I also really like that it comes with its own carry bag for travel. Setup is a breeze. You simply slide the fabric over the wire seat portion, then you slide the wire of the seat down into holes on the base. You secure the bouncer to the base with a thick hook and loop closure along the length of the base of the seat fabric. Because the seat portion is completely removable, this bouncer can be disassembled and flattened easily, making it a good size for travel. Ultimately, this is not my favorite bouncer for a couple reasons. Firstly, the highest seat position is too high to feel that my baby is secure. My baby fit the age and size requirements but still was being held almost completely upright. This made it almost impossible for him to bounce in this position. On the lower level, his positioning is fine. Secondly, I don’t like that the only mechanism securing the seat to the base is the Velcro on the fabric. Though it feels secure, I would be much less weary if the two pieces were permanently attached to one another with some sort of folding mechanism. Overall, this is a great bouncer, but there’s some room for improvement. However it’s a good choice based on the value and the included bag which is a nice touch. I still sit my baby in this bouncer regularly despite it’s small shortcomings. ... show more
