Comfortable right out of the box. Little adjustments needed to wheels and trucks. They are super cute and I love the rubber toes. The wheels are kinda too grippy for me so I'll probably switch those out. I'm gonna do some free skating to break them in before using them for derby. Can't beat the price on these quality skates. 🖤

Great quality, they feel expensive just holding them, I used bonts website for sizing and ordered my given size, size 5 but they were not comfortable, I ended up ordering a separate pair and retiring these and ordering half a size up, I'd say they run a tad small. But! You can also heat mold these to be more custom fit, I'd say maybe not best for beginners it seems more like a set for people who really know their way around a pair of skates, but very well made, durable and one could very well adjust these once broken in. They just pinched my toes and ankle to much at the bending point for me to be willing to be in pain for 12+ hours of training or a months worth of use

I might be a newbie and a fool, but I purchased these derby skates with the intention of making them outdoor skates. It was just so hard to find my size in outdoor skates lately since EVERYBODY is buying skates like crazy. These were a great deal and since I can barely walk in high heels, skating in heels sounded counter-intuitive, so I figured I'd try setting up a derby skate for outdoors. When I used to run and coach running groups, I ran in minimalist shoes and I preferred to have a wide toe box, even for my tiny feet, so my research on skates pointed me to this brand for it's square toe box. I think I made a reasonably good choice. Maybe I would wish for the material to be more flexible just for comfort but it's really not bad. Out of the box, the wheels and bearings are really nice; be aware that if you're planning on switching the bearings only but keeping the wheels, the existing wheels have mini-bearings. I'm reasonably sure they're ABEC9 or similar because they feel exactly like (or possibly faster than) the abec9 bankroll bearings I bought for the outdoor wheels. As far as adjustment on the existing skate package: They needed the wheels to be loosened/made equal, and the truck on one skate needed adjustment to roll straight. It was a pain to make little micro adjustments and roll on the floor each time to see if I adjusted it right, but eventually this newbie got her skate to roll straight. The existing wheels are 92A speed wheels and have a little grippiness on my hardwood floors. I'm no wheel expert; I ended up switching to radar energy 65 behemoths for my crappy outdoor roads anyway.

Rated a 1 atm. Took them to a childs birthday party to break them in and the truck axle bent in the first 5 minutes. I am a bont size 10.5 or US size 12 and at 6ft 218lbs, not far off from average size and weight. Awaiting reply from bont customer service and will update rating based on that experience and how this plays out. *Update 3/10/26 Still have not received warranty parts to repair. Bont customer service is friendly but appears that stock is low on the pieces needed. They hesitant to admit that the tracer plate appears to have an issue with axles that are subpar. There are other brands with chromoly axles. At this point I've borrow some skates to use while I wait to test those new parts and supply and updated review.

Yes, everyone is buying outdoor skates as our beloved derby season never got started! 💩 I encourage all the newbies and vets to get a pair of these!!!! I was super impressed with the toe stop. It’s not that “silly screw” that comes loose every time you do a turning toe stop! It’s a Allen wrench lock tight holder! Beautiful! The skates are really comfy! DO IT! Purchase these!!!!! These fit so well, I would highly recommend measuring your foot to ensure a good fit. They are extremely comfortable and I fell that I have a lot of control with them. The laces are so nice and I don’t ever have to worry about them coming undone. Only thing of not that’s even slightly negative is that on my pair at least you can see the glue on the side from where the rubber front is attached, even with that it’s not a big deal to me when I compare it to how well these perform and feel straight out of the box!
