This item being cheaper seems to do what it was designed to do very well. I used the 3mil laminating sheets and all came out perfect. I recommend letting it heat up for 20 to 30 minutes so it gets piping hot to get the best lamination but after that the lamination process is quick. The only thing I advise to do is when you first get it, have it next to a ventilation source as the manufacturing oils will burn off the laminating rollers. This produces a bad smell with smoke but goes away after a few minutes. Well worth the price for a budget laminating machine that does what it was designed to do. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I needed something so I could make my grandson some picture cards, this was inexpensive and worked like a charm! It does take a minute to heat up but after that it works great!
