Its a good bargain if you are designing clothes. The shape is exactly correct for the size. I gad one of these before that was not correct through shoulders, so draping for design was impossible. If only it had an adjustment for tightening the lower part of the rod in the base. One other suggestion would be to have the piece where the upper rod connects to be higher inside the form so that it could be used on a table top would be nice and give another option. Overall very nice as a mannikin and doable for draping fashion design.

Super happy with this order. Wish I would have found this earlier. Great price. Easy to store and move. I keep it up every day and have an in home retail business. It did have an indentation that others mentioned. It is from packaging and shipping. However, it was very well packed and cared for, seller probably wouldn’t even realize that that’s happening. No ours does not easily tip over, I would have to push it pretty hard for that. I do have it standing on tile. Wood is beautiful, nothing was scratched or distracting. Easy Easy assembly! -Christina

I did not even need the directions. It’s extremely easy to assemble, quite strong. The bodice and trunk are a great shape for most sizes. It’s adjustable. Affordable. It just looks high end close up, and holds clothing well. I was very happy to find this one so much less than similar mannequins. It’s a great deal. Just what I was looking for!

Pros: -one of the only dress forms I could find under $100 -a great looking display Cons: -no adjustable height -extremely light weight, too light, it tips over when draping or moving heavy fabrics over it. The bust is literally styrofoam covered in thin stretchy jersey fabric. Nothing at all like the nicer canvas duct forms. You can get styrofoam busts for like $10 and probably do a build from a home improvement store/marketplace for $30. -the torpedo breast on my form is extremely pronounced. It is not a realistic shape at all. -not made to last. The fabric covering is extremely thin, and easy to catch and rip. I don’t see this lasting for someone who does a lot of pinning to the form. -i have to pick it up from the wood base, there is no clasp or lock from stoping the metal rod from just coming right out of the socket when you want to pick it up from the bust. Such a hassle. If you’re just using it as a display, and don’t plan on pinning fabrics, then is a really pretty piece for that. The wood color is nice, and it’s very easy to move around. But it is extremely easy to knock over. If you’re using it to sew a lot, I would really look elsewhere. I don’t think this will hold up. It’s unfortunate it’s so expensive for styrofoam and and cheap wood, and there’s a huge price jump to anything better.

I'm using it for my handmade necklaces. I dressed her up in various outfits and she's sturdy enough for jackets. I like the linen look fabric and height is easily adjustable. It was incredibly easy to assemble and disassemble. I returned the first one because I had ordered the wrong size and I had no problem getting a refund. There were some cheaper mannequins available but they didn't have free shipping like this one and I'd say this one is much better quality. I'd definitely recommend it. There's a little key in the box for adjusting the height. It might be taped to the wrapping somewhere, it's hard to find but it should be there somewhere.
