  • Excellent workout headphones
I've been wearing these headphones for running and outdoor work for almost two months now, and I really like them. They feel sturdy, they stay put while running or moving, they're comfortable to wear, and the sound quality is quite impressive. I really, REALLY like that they have physical buttons; there are plenty of reasons why touch controls can be convenient, but for exercise-focused headphones, it's way too easy to accidentally trigger a touch function. With these, you have a large and unmissable play/pause button, and the plus/minus buttons easily control volume and skip functions. Excellent. Battery life has been great; I've worn them for at least a dozen runs or other activities and only had to charge them twice. I did try these with the included earplugs. In a quiet-ish environment, it's pretty cool to still clearly hear the sound while your ears are plugged. However, I also tried these for mowing my lawn; normally I wear my noise-cancelling earbuds to mow and those are highly effective and reducing the noise of the mower and letting me clearly hear music or podcasts. Unfortunately, even with the earplugs in and headphones at max volume, I couldn't clearly hear a podcast. That was not the intended use of these for me, but I did at least want to try. I did have just one instance of hearing some buzz in the audio on one side while running, but I gave a slight squeeze to the headphone on that side and didn't hear the buzz again. Overall, these are excellent exercise headphones. Durable, well made, easy to control, and sound very good for the price. Not a replacement for noise-cancelling headphones or earbuds, but very good for getting good sound while maintaining environmental awareness. I really hope they'll last. ... show more

  • Great performance for the money.
I bought a pair of these for myself as I was tired of my AirPods falling out of my ears while running. I was a bit skeptical based on the price, but they have been more than worth it. In fact, I was so happy with them, I bought a second pair shortly after for my daughter for her to use while running. The best thing about them is that I never have to worry about them falling off during physical activity and sweating. They totally stay put and I don't even think about them. The other thing that I really like is that although they have great audio quality, because they are outside of the ear, I can still some other ambient noise like when cyclists or other runners may be passing. I find that this makes running and cycling much safer because I'm not totally tuned out all the outside noises. Because of this, you may think the audio quality isn't as great, and honestly, if you're comparing these exclusively on audio quality that may be true, but they still work surprisingly well and give you the best of both worlds (good audio, safety, and they don't fall out of your ears). The only other feedback I have is that I did have to bend and flex them a little bit after I got them so that they were resting in the proper place by my ear but once I did that, they've been great. ... show more

  • Low sound with outiside noise.
I bought these over a year ago and I use them quite a lot while running and they are great when I run by myself. You don't get superb sound quality but it's decent. I think that when you're working out you don't really have to have amazing sound quality as long as it's not vibrating or muffled. Anyway, these are ok... Except... I used these for the first time in a very crowded half marathon this past weekend and I realized I couldn't hear a DAMN THING. I had to cover my ears in order to get an idea of what song was playing so it defeats the whole purpose of the earphones. They're great if you're running but yourself in quiet surroundings, just awful when running with other runners and people cheering. I will be looking for something else. ... show more

  • They Work for Those with Heating Loss.
For starters, I have been diagnosed with otosclerosis in my right ear and general hearing loss in my left. Without help I have about 20% of normal in my right ear and 60% in the left. 🥺 I had test driven some coworkers' very expensive bone conducting headphones and they were enlightening. I was hesitant to purchase these at the price but they work almost as well... Not perfect, but for the price, I'm impressed. When I first turned them on and connected, put on some modern music, it was an unreal feeling. Because of my hearing loss being assymetric, my phone was set with a balance much louder on the right side. Now that I could hear with both "ears", it seemed really loud! Couple days later and I've centered the balance and re-enable stereo, and gotten used to it. Definitely not going to get the same highs and lows that you would get from a normal audio driver, but that's just a part of the technology, not the specific device. For the tech they're using the sound quality is actually very wide range and immersive. The only reason I subtracted a star is because they fit too loose. I've got an average size head on my shoulders. When I press the temple driver with my fingers, I get a much richer sound... That's how I want it to sound without having to utilize both hands. It would be really nice if they added a little piece to make them adjustable for different users' preferences. Lastly, they ARE great of you're working out or running. They still won't release unless it's intentional. Also it's great to be able to hear your surroundings when you're in a busy area. ... show more
