I absolutely love these shoes. The sizes were right the shoes fit well. I waited to write this review being that it was winter when I purchased them and didn't want to wear them outside yet. Well I started wearing them when spring started even though this has been the wettest spring in history where I'm at in 50+ years. I am completely surprised buy these cross trainer style shoe. They are comfortable and Very Resistant to weather mud & dirt. My road is being completely dug up so it's nothing but dirt and has been since the start of spring when I started wearing them. I've been walking in them down a long muddy wet dirt road in the rain since the first day. When I've come back after being in the rain and walk in the mud somehow my pants have mud on them every time the shoes stayed clean and dry. I put nothing on them no spray of any sort. They're breathable yet warm. I would venture even to wear them in the ocean. My feet stayed completely dry through all of this and my fresh clean pants literally had dirt on them with me trying to stay clean. They look just as good as when I bought them. In my opinion you Can't go wrong for the price alone. They look good & they feel good! Let the resistance to the elements, being breathable and comfortable make them well worth the money. They're nice in the gym. They're great all-purpose you honestly! My Jordans, DC's & Nike regular & soccer cleats don't even resist the elements like these let alone stay breathable when need be yet still warm. I'm Truly Impressed. After all that they still look the same as the day I bought them and I haven't cleaned them off once. Great buy!

Around 2018, I started working in a Distribution Center that did not require steel toes. I needed new shoes and money was tight. I found the previous model of these in Walmart for $25 or so back then. I picked up a pair and because I have a high arch, and a pair of Dr. Scholl's "Heavy Duty Support" inserts. Even if you run equipment, you do a lot of walking in a DC and the equipment is all "stand up". As the previous model was working well for me, I went back to Walmart for a second pair of these/Scholls as back up Avia's. I swapped in the second pair after about 10 months. I changed them to get a fresh pair of soles and inserts, not because the first pair was uncomfortable or falling apart. I kept using the first pair around the house and walking for another year or so before I let them go and they were still in decent shape when I did. When I went to work at a different DC, my second pair was getting old so I looked to replace them. Avia had changed that the model I had and replaced it with this model. As my local Walmart did not have these in my size, I turned to Amazon. I bought two pair along with Dr. Scholl's heavy duty inserts. I was concerned that as time goes on, things seem to be built less robustly. In this case, there were subtle differences between the new Avia and old model, but these are just as comfortable and holding up like the old ones. I put the first pair on my feet, with inserts in late November 2024. Now, in July 2025 I'm still wearing them 5-6 days a week and the second pair as well as inserts, are still in their packaging. Additionally, the original second pair that I began wearing around 2020-'21, are still my work shoes around the house in '25. For me, the Avia's have been comfortable, hold up well for what I use them for and were inexpensive. See photo's for the pair I've been wearing since November '24, 5-6 days a week, 10-12 hours a day (from when I put them on until I take them off). These are size 12 and I'm around 6'6" and 220.

I read the feedback on these and took one suggestion to order a size larger (I'm a 9.5, so ordered a 10) I am glad I took the advice! These shoes are narrow but the fabric will stretch and should conform to your foot... They look decent and have good traction.

Initial impressions of the shoes were positive. Out of the box they looked good, felt good, but sadly the quality is bad. After light, general usage the shoes are separating/splitting at the seam where the body meets the sole of the shoe. The tread on the bottom is still great. Wish they were better quality. Would not buy again.

I’ve had three pairs of these shoes, and they’re very comfy but (as others have said) I only get three months out of them before the soles start peeling off. They also start to look shabby very quickly. I don’t even jog, exercise or go off pavement with them—a mild 10,000 steps in a work day kills these shoes quickly.

I bought my first pair in January 2019 and wore them every single day for 4 years, through all of the elements. They would've lasted longer if I didn't have such an active job, the sole started coming off the right one, so I ordered a new pair because of how long they lasted me. I ordered this pair in October, and the shipping was expected to be in January but I received them way ahead of schedule in November, so I'm very impressed with the speed they came to me. They're very comfortable after breaking them in. I like to just keep the laces tied so I can just slip them on and go. Honestly, I will keep buying these shoes every time I wear mine out, I have been burned by expensive/name brand shoes that are double or triple the price and lasted me the same amount of time. Skip them, and just buy these!
