This stuff is fantastic. It’s very soothing and healing for minor cuts and abrasions, irritated skin. I use it on myself and I use it for my dog when he gets allergic reactions and heat rash. Works better than anything on the market for dogs. Hydrates his skin instead of the sprays that have alcohol good burn. And works very rapidly. My dog has not had a problem in months since I cleared up his redness and irritation with this. It is safe for animals and recommended by my vet because if they lick it they will not get sick like they would from antibiotic appointments for people. My exotic animal vet also recommended this for my bunny who had urine scald from her lack of mobility when she got old. It helped immensely. If severe you can use it three times a day but I only used it once a day with my dog and he was better forever in a few days. I’ve been told that it is very soothing and effective for hemorrhoids. Calangula is a homeopathic remedy great for my dry hands and feet. I use socks on my feet when I go to bed and in the morning it's a miracle that my feet feel so great. It's a year round kind of problem for me with my feet. My hands only need this in the winter. I used to use a lotion but this ointment is much better when I use it at night. I have gloves for my hands, too, when I use it at night. There is no scent. This product caught me by surprise. I was incredibly pleased from the first time I used this. I listened to the other reviews and bought this primarily for mosquito bites. This is something I will continue to have & use for many other things, but it was such a relief to finally find something that took the itch away immediately. there was a couple times I would have to reapply, but it was very rare. I literally get eaten alive by mosquitoes whether it’s day/night primarily because of where I live by the water. But I’ve found so many other uses for this product. For example, I use it as a moisturizer on my face, dry parts of my body. It’s incredibly effective at combating dryness, providing added moisture & calming any redness on any part of my body/face. There’s a reason why so many Asian products have the main ingredient of calendula. It’s a power house ingredient that I’m so grateful to have found through Boiron. *Addes plus they have truthful info on the bottles and where they source their calendula flowers.
