  • Great boots
Size: 10 Color: Black
Super comfortable fit and ultra durable. I use them for the winter time and they keep my feet warm.

  • Cozy on the farm
I'm a New Yorker who visits a friend on his organic farm in Massachusetts. For years I've worn various construction type work boots or sneakers, always making a mess and a hassle to take on and off as we constantly shuttle from the farm house to the fields and back again. I finally bought these boots after seeing what the other farmhands wear -- slip on mud boots with decent tread. I'm a guy with small feet so fit is always a hassle, but these Bogs did the trick. I was just at the farm for a few days of chores and the boots were wonderful. I could easily kick them off while my hands were full and they fit very nicely and kept me warm. Your feet won't breath well since they're waterproof, so things get a bit damp, but it's worth it. I wish I had bought these years ago. The build quality and tread are excellent. I wish they had built in handles like Muck boots, but those didn't fit well at all so the Bogs win out. ... show more

  • Excellent Winter/Rain Boot
Size: 10 Color: Black
I am usually a Muck boot fan but decided to give Bogs a try. These are extremely comfortable boots. The moment I put them on I fell in love. A size 10 boot is generally slightly large for me; however, these fit closer to a tennis shoe. Pros: completely waterproof, comfortable, perfect fit, upper neoprene sleeve, odor fighting technology, height (not as high as a traditional rubber boot, mid calf fit). Cons: slightly heavier than I expected, price. Overall these are exceptional boots that will keep your feet warm and dry for years. ... show more

  • Good Boots, but Run Small
Although only a few reviewers warned that these boots run small, you should listen to them. Unfortunately, I did not. I bought my usual size (13), but the boots were small length-wise; my toes did not fit in the boot comfortably (width was fine). I returned them to Amazon, which was easy. I bought the next size up, but they felt a bit big, not in length but in height. There was quite a bit of room between the top of my foot and the boot, and consequently, my feet moved around a lot when I walked. One way I remedied this was by putting shoe inserts in the boots (I took inserts that were pretty thick from an old pair of size 13 boots). Also, since I wear these boots primarily in the winter, I wear thick winter socks when I wear them. With the inserts and thick socks, the boots fit pretty surprisingly well. In addition, you could also tuck your pants into the boots (I think they are designed for this since the top opening of the boot is pretty big, although I don't think it looks particularly great) and the boots fit even better. Overall, it's probably a good idea to try these boots on before you buy them since there are sizing issues with them. But if you would rather buy them on Amazon, I would buy a size larger than your usual size and try using inserts and wearing thick socks. As far as the boots themselves, I like them. They are lightweight, comfortable, and waterproof. And sliding them on and off is great. ... show more

  • Well-made, very versatile boot, decent price
Love these boots. Easy-on, easy-off. Convenient. Ice: Most rubber boots are useless on ice. These are no different. To keep from falling on your ass ice fishing, invest in a pair of YakTrax, WinterTrax, Get-a-Grip, StabilIcers or some other additional source of traction. Size: I usually wear a 9.5 wide. To my knowledge, Bogs doesn't make anything in half sizes. Size 9 was too short. Size 10 was a bit long but the width was better...and I'd need a heavier sock in winter anyway. So, if a size 9 doesn't work, you'll need to buy a 10. Price: This time around the local boot shop tripped the threshold on my BS meter. Locally, these sell for $89 without tax! As is often the case, Amazon offered an alternative to getting ripped off. Normally, I buy boots locally because I have to try stuff on. This time the price differential was too goofy. Height: The Bogs 'Classic Mid Boot' is 11" from the floor to the ridge of the boot. I have huge calves and these are roomy enough to get on and off without a wrestling match. I also have a pair of LaCrosse boots that are 16.5" high ($124). They have their place tromping through swamps and bogs, livestock confinements, trapping beaver, etc. But, they're not fun to get on or off because of my large calves. Overall, the Classic Mid Boot is a good value at $60. ... show more

  • PAINFUL MISTAKE BUYING THESE... LITERALLY!!!
Size: 14 Color: Black
ABSOLUTELY NO SLIP RESISTANCE WHATSOEVER! -- I purchased these boots because I am the Sanitation Supervisor of a medium-sized bakery and it gets extremely slippery during our Sanitation process of the machines and factory. I purchased from this brand because I was told about the comfort and quality. I will say, these boots fit true to size and are indeed comfortable, but they have NO SLIP RESISTANCE AT ALL!!! I fell the first day I bought these at work and I am still in pain from falling! So if you are looking for a pair of boots and you need ANY kind of slip resistance, DO NOT PURCHASE THESE!!! Also, for the price of these, you are better off spending the extra $10 and get Muck boots. They are A MILLION times better than these in every way! ... show more
