This product is really top notch overall and I easily recommend it. However, If you are looking for an item that will allow to to really get a full body workout, there are WAY better options for cheaper. Pretty much any set of exercise chords or bands will be better for getting a wider variety of exercises accomplished. This product is really meant for working on small stability muscles in the shoulder and a little in the forearm. The company that makes this would probably not like the idea of their tool being pigeonholed into such a smaller category, but it is what it is. If you are a thrower who is in need of rehabbing, strengthening, or just trying to do some preventative maintenance, this is a great option for your labrum and rotator cuff. Please don’t buy it if you are trying to really get into shape all over. The models they use in their pictures probably don’t use a body blade at all in reality. ... show more

    • Don’t give up on learning the rhythm of the blade.

At 66years old I thought my body could not change. Since using the body blade I’ve seen significant results. Once you get the rhythm down it’s a snap. I’m extremely happy with the body blade. I recently bought the body blade pro. My wife was so impressed with my results that she now uses it.

I can't tell you how impressed I am. It's an amazingly simple workout that does a lot more than you would think. I tore up my shoulder about a year-and-a-half ago. I've just reached the stage where I can start to rehab. This is such a nice soft yet intense workout. I can see improvement within the first 2 weeks. It takes about 10 minutes to get in workout.     • Love the exercise, hate the smell of the plastic

I used my friends classic and pro blades before buying my blade on Amazon. My friends blades never smelled or left an odor on my hands. When mine arrived I didn’t notice at first but after having it sitting in my room the blade gave off a strong nasty plastic odor. I have tried washing it with soap and water and airing it out and it still smells. I love using the blade and it seems to work just like my friends. It unfortunately is leaving a smell on my hands after using it and I have to scrub my hands to get the odor off. I looked back and only one other person brought up this issue so I am not sure why some blades smell and some do not. DId I get a knock off? Still figuring it out. I've only had this for a few days, but I really love this thing so far! It was a bit of an adjustment period to learn the way the bodyblade works. It does seem to work very well so far...utilizing the body blade correctly results in quickly exhausting target muscle fibers, but also seems to work supporting/core muscles as well. ... show more

I like the BodyBlade, and my wife loves it: we've both used it nearly every day since we got it. It works well either before or after more intense exercise. The exercises don't take long, and they produce a sense of balanced energy without exhaustion. I noticed that a couple other reviewers mentioned that if they were to make the purchase again, they'd buy the larger version rather than the "Classic." For myself I'd agree with that. it takes a little bit of practice but i do a 1 minute in one position and than another minute in another postion, it tires me out, i am over 60 but not in bad shape, in time i should be able to increase the time, but i can feel it working my upper strength and abs. I walk for at least 40 minutes a day and have a rowing machine but the bodybalde is the one that tires me out. I also use exercise bands which are also good but i wanted something to give me my wind and this seems like it. I do 2 minutes about every two hours when i am watching tv. Its a great device.
