I was very hesitant to even bother trying with body chains because I am a curvy girl, and I was really happy and exicted that it seemed to have enough room in the waist, unfortunately the chain connections are very weak and any pressure or pull on them at all will cause them to snap open and therefore the clasp is useless. I was super sad that it ended up not being wearable for me (even after I added some more chain from one of my jewlery kits) because the chain is just too weak for it. I am 5'8 and 230lbs, with DDD+ chest. I am typically a size 16 to 20 US for my waist size. The gem part is a square chunky gem, so its fun and sparkly but not the most elegant looking body jewlery. The necklace part does not sit right no matter what you do because of this square chunky style. Its not a bad piece and I was glad I gave it a try. The heart is really cute and it could be a really cute chain for someone less curvy but Its just not very strong.

This is a beautiful body chain. It looks like the photos and I received so many compliments on it. I wore at the beach lounge while on vacation and may break it out again for a daring dress on New Year's Eve!

So this was pretty, came on time and well packaged. However as soon as I tried to put it on, one of the "O" rings broke and couldn't clasp it together. I figured it was a fluke or the O ring part was just loose so I fixed it and tried again, it again broke, so I haven't been able to wear it. Honestly, I just thing it's cheaply made. And I hate saying that, but I ordered this even though there were other reviews that said it broke when they tried it on. Well, I guess I'm part of that group that it happened to. Sad, because I looked forward to be able to wear it.

My wife hasn't even worn it properly, yet (just tried it on), and it's already lost a "stone." The chain feels like plastic, although it may simply be an exceptionally-thin metal. The chains on the end are definitely metal. For the price, as a piece of costume/play jewelry, it's probably a reasonable value. I don't think I would wear it in any kind of serious venue.

I've never worn a body chain before so it did take a little bit of practice to put on... once I got it on though it stayed put without needing to adjust it constantly. I was initially concerned that the gems might flip around, but they stayed facing outward. I am a size medium in most tops and this chain fit me well with extra chain to spare. The extra chain wasn't bothersome. It's a very nice accessory to add some sparkle to your outfit.
