Packaged well, the top step bracket was bent significantly and had to be straightened to accept bolts and hand rail. Seems sturdy enough for my 160 lb body, and I lowered the second step position about 3 inches down, was a bit high for me. Hand rail is adequate but I wouldn't trust with full body weight pull. The clamping plate being adjustable for orientation is a plus. All in all for the price, it is a pretty good value.

Ladder steps are weak. I had to reinforce my pretty much the whole thing and modified it to fit my boat. For the price though you cant beat it. Make sure you got a welder handy

I fish a lot alone. When loading the boat I have to drive on the trailer and then get down it front and hook and crank. Then get back up on the boat to shut off motor and raise. What a difference as opposed to crawling on and off the front versus just stepping. Iām in my 60ās and still very active. But not having to crawl up and down is great. Install is easy.
