High quality cover. I really can't say enough about it. The boat pictured is an 18ft jetboat, with two tent poles. The material is tough, and reinforced where it needs to be. The strapping is full cover instead of just at the edges, providing superior wind durability. The straps themselves are a tough nylon with easy fastening buckles. They also provide plenty of strapping points, but not so many that it's a headache to find a place for them, or a chore to use them. There is even a ventilation pocket sewn in, which surprised me at this price. The elastic banding is just right, not to hard to pull, and not so weak it doesn't hold. This cover is well thought out, and has a handsome branding sewn into the side for a real premium look/feel. A bag is included for storing the cover when not in use. Only time will tell how long it will last, but initial quality is outstanding.

I ordered this 16-18.5FT Waterproof Anti-UV Marine Grade PU Coating Polyester Boat Cover to cover my 16' dinghy boat (which is stored outside) during the winter months. The cover is good quality, with integral straps included, and an elastic hem band. The cover fits the boat well. However - the thickness of the fabric is thinner than what I was expecting...most likely as an outdoor winter cover this will last 1-2 seasons. Next time I'm going to purchase a 600D or 900D material cover (which will cost more $, but last longer).

FYI (210D polyester is 0.09 thick), 420D POLYESTER IS @ 0.31 thick, (600D polyester is @ 0.53-0.55)-- MISLEADING INFO---- BE AWARE!

This cover is very well constructed with double layers at the bow and stern, and two covered vents to help release condensation and avoid ballooning in windy conditions. The straps are sewn in and meant to wrap around the trailer frame and clip back at the same location, but if you don't want to use the trailer, you can loop the strap with the one on the opposite side and wrap just the boat. The material is light in weight and easy to handle. The elastic hem helps immensely with keeping the cover in place on one end as you work around the boat to get the rest of it on.

The media could not be loaded. I ended up getting this boat cover to replace a $150+ cover that failed. My point of failures on the other cover didn't even last me one season, as I don't want to have to take off my trolling motor every time. This cover right out of the box seems to be a little thicker than the name -brand cover I previously had. The other cover I had were just plastic buckle straps through loops that were sewn onto the cover, this one has the receiver buckle sewn onto the edge of the cover so you only have to fight one buckle, that's a quality of life thing to me. The air vents were more centered over the actual width of the boat on this cover. This cover seems to be a touch longer than expected, which benefits being able to put it over the outboard on the back. So far it is riding on the propeller blade of my trolling motor and has not worn through yet. I might look at trying to get a piece of foam or something over that spot to keep this cover longer. It may not be the toughest most durable cover on the market, but it is definitely value for the money.
