Mic works and sounds great. Boom arm springs reverberate through the mic when bumped, even with the shock mount. Pop filter gooseneck is pretty short, hard to get it adjusted so that the filter is squarely in front of the mic.

This bundle is a good bang for your buck but just fyi it's not a Blue Yeti Blackout mic. Because of that the sound quality is not as good as it could be but you can tweak the settings to make it better. Otherwise setup was pretty good, mine didn't come with instructions but it wasn't too difficult to get everything put together. ... show more

Great mic overall. The adjustable arm is very good, and doesn't get weighed down by the mic. The mic is very secure when hanging from the arm. Definitely look up a tutorial on what gain value to use. The only complaint was that I had to adjust the shock mount so that the Mic would be facing the direction that I wanted to. This didn't take long but was still a hassle to take off the bungie cords and re-attach them. ... show more

I haven't had an actual dedicated mic in about 10 years and the second I heard myself talk with this microphone I knew how much of a massive upgrade it was to my stock laptop microphone. The sound quality is fantastic, and it has a bunch of settings that you can change around to fit your situation. The stand is extremely easy to set up- it's basically ready the second you take it out of the packaging and has rigidity to the point where I don't feel like it's going to fall over at all. Like many people I am on a lot of calls. Recently a team member was asking others on the call to speak up or change their microphone since they were hard to hear. This team member mentioned that I was coming through exceptionally well. I did some testing when I logged into my next zoom call. I selected theee different microphones that were connected to my computer - the webcam microphone, the microphones on my headset, and the Blue Yeti. Each one was a substantial improvement over the others, with the blue yeti being substantially clearer and sharper than anything else. The arm is nice to use and keeps the microphone out of camera view, though I learned that camera settings for Zoom are different than for Microsoft Teams and suddenly my camera was in the video. The pop filter didn’t seem to help much, perhaps because there is a good 12” between my mouth a d the Blue Yeti. ... show more
