The item that arrived is exactly as described and looks exactly like the product photos. It's a thicker chain than most women's necklaces but the snake bone link style of the chain still looks dainty and feminine. The pendant is thick and weighted but not very heavy. It's very comfortable and easy to forget that I have it on. It has a nice shine to it ant matches most of my other silver colored jewelry.

I am a mermaid who still morns for her sailor drowned at sea. So I chose this frozen tear to remember him by. It is not aquamarine, but a clever imitation of blue glass backed with highly polished silver-plate metal. Paired with the snake chain and nicely cast bale, it is an interesting and tasteful jewelry item.
