They use a really sticky adhesive tape to secure the roll from unwrapping. About 6inchs of the vinyl went to waste because of it.

I’ve been doing Cricut work for almost 3 years and this is absolutely the worst vinyl I have used. It completely ruined one of my mats because it got stuck to it. Then when I went to lay it on another mat it was already coming up off the white sheet so I had to try and lay it back down. I will be requesting a refund. Not tacky. You’ll need extra double stick tape to put this on. I may have been better off using glue spray or something else I’m not sure. This is my second or third product of this kind and all with poor adhesive. It’s a pain to have to buy extra material to get the job done. It’s quality material which is great but I had bubbles trapped everywhere underneath as I’m not super skilled in applying paper. I used squeegee too but wonder if it was tacky enough would it apply better? Idk. Anyway if you’re good at applying sticky paper and can come out without air bubbles go for it. May be better suited for smaller project In my case I needed it for large surface and didn’t come out as I’d liked it to. I’m not sure it can be removed due to adhesive I had to apply underneath.
