I have a large 3 monitor setup for my PC, but my regular reading glasses (1.75) do not work because of the distance away I sit (about 2.5 feet). I got these in a 1.25 and not only is there reduced eyestrain, but I can see the monitors perfectly clear. I tried to figure out for years how to deal with the distance issue for reading, and there is so much confusing information out there on computer vs. reading glasses. One day I found one of my first pairs of reading glasses and they worked great. So I checked and saw they were much lower than my normal ones now, so I figured I would treat myself to some new ones in the same diopter as my old ones.. and viola. Also, these are Very light weight, and the spring hinges are just strong enough not to fly off, but also to be very comfortable on my temples and I have a fairly wide face. ... show more

The glasses arrived on time and undamaged. Quality was ok for the price. This review is for +0.75 and +1.25 Pros: * Glasses are lightweight, allowing for extended wear * Each pair came with a protective cloth case and cleaning rag * The colors and style were nice, better than what you get at a pharmacy Cons: * The temples put pressure on my cuspid (bone behind ear) and required manual adjustment * There is no anti-glare coating on the inside of the lens * Doesn't appear to be "full lens" magnification (blurry at edges of lens) Summary: The glasses overall were nice, I debated wether I should return them but ultimately decided to. The lack of anti-glare coating allows your eye to reflect off the inside of the lens. This has the unwanted effect of making the lens appear dirty and objects being viewed look dull. This may be related to the reflective property of the inside lens but the magnification toward the edge of the lens seems to be inconsistent. As you get closer to the frame, there appears to be a halo of light around the edge of the lens, as if someone has smudged the edge with their finger. I saw no visible fingerprints or contamination from manufacturing so I can only assume that the magnification is different at the edge. ... show more

This is my favorite set of readers so far. I've ordered other sets similar in cost to these and these blow the others out of the water. These are a nice size lens and the blue block and anti-glare is excellent. The clarity of the lenses is better than anything else I've tried in this price range and they're easier on my eyes than most others I've used. The frames are very lightweight but feel sturdy and durable - much beyond the price point of the set, at least. At the price I am not worried about them getting lost or broken when they are out and about. I had a pack before and multiple times when i was out, I had friends that could not see and i offered the glasses. 3 times the people said they liked them and at the price i said keep them. I always find it funny when a multi pack of glasses comes with individual cloth case and whatever you call the cloth thing you are supposed to wipe the lenses with, but it came with that. Light but well made. No nose bridge pieces, just solid nose bridge which I like. Comfortable glasses. Only bad thing was one of the pairs looked like they thought it was for Elton John - all white but I will stuff them in a drawer and use them when I need to see the toaster or the microwave. ... show more
