I bought this for my pre-teen granddaughter. She loves displaying it in her room and really enjoys all the letter, number, and emoji options to choose from. So many of them! I don't think she's used the markers with it yet but they're a nice way to add a personal touch to it, too. It props up on its bottom edge on her dresser but she's also moved it to the kitchen for certain holidays and added sayings specific for those days (i.e. Happy New Year, Happy Easter). The letters or emojis are easily slid into the first, second, or third row and are removed just as easily. If on at night, it's probably brighter than a traditional night light but can be used as one if needed.
