We are very conscientious about what we give our dogs. We have a 6 mo old puppy that eats the Blue Buffalo puppy food, both dry and wet. We also have a 10 yo that needs a special diet. We are comfortable giving these to both of them. We use these as a treat for going outside to potty (the 10yo is incontinent so it helps train the 6 mo old). Effectiveness: Helps with potty training, we ask if they wanted a cookie when they come back in! Hardness: great crunch but not too hard for my older dog to chomp on Quality: made with high quality ingredients you can pronounce Why did you pick this product vs others?: healthier for the dogs than milkbone! My dogs LOVE these biscuits size treats. They easily break by hand into pieces so I can get smaller pieces for my 2 small dogs and larger pieces for my bigger dog. Each dog gets 2 treats per biscuit. My pickiest small dog easily chomps these treats down. The apple and yogurt variety smell so good I want to try them. Knowing they are a healthier snack choice makes me happy. My 3 furbabies love the taste. My senior dog just had several teeth extraction, but that didn't stop her from enjoying her biscuit. She licks and licks until it's soft enough to bite into. My other 2 enjoy them just as much. The aroma is nice and fresh and the ingredients are good.
