These Blue Buffalo Health Bars have been a hit with my dog. He gets excited when I pull out the bag and has happily eaten them every time I’ve given him one. They have a nice crunchy biscuit texture, which makes them feel more substantial than some of the smaller, softer training treats. I like these for an occasional everyday treat or reward. The pumpkin and cinnamon combination is a little different from the typical meat-flavored dog treats, but my dog certainly doesn’t seem to mind. He enjoys the flavor and the crunch, and they haven't just sat forgotten in the treat cabinet. The 16-ounce bag also contains a good amount of biscuits, and I appreciate that the packaging is easy to keep stored with the rest of his treats. Since these are crunchy biscuits, I would expect there to be some crumbs or broken pieces toward the bottom of the bag, but that hasn't taken away from their usefulness. Overall, these have been a great addition to our treat rotation. My dog loved these! I mean, loved them. He'd wake up in the middle of the night and go to his treat drawer and whimper for one. It was like he just craved to have some. The pumpkin and cinnamon ones smell pretty good too. They break apart easily for portion control or feeding to smaller dogs. it also seemed to be an easy treat to chew for my senior dog. Nice resealable bag. Comes in a variety of flavors. My wish now is, I hope it is offered to all the pups that have crossed the rainbow bridge. These are amazing and both my dogs love them like crazy, they're the favorite treat in the house. I love the price too! My home is definitely a Blue Buffalo home. We get the dry food, treats, and even wet food for topping, and are very happy to give our boys good nutrition without the foul ingredients that cheap kibble and treats have in them. They're breakable into pieces for the senior dog who eats everything super slow & the pibble that eats eveything without even taking a breath, but not super easy to break: The package ALWAYS comes damaged and scratched up like it was thrown like a football toward the end zone, but the treats stay whole except a few loose pieces which is no biggie. My nearly year old sheltie pup loves these pumpkin and cinnamon treats. He loves them enough to leave his sister (a cat) alone to get a piece of the treat. The cat was two feet away from him and he sat and stayed for the treat. He started to play with the cat (who was amenable to the playing, but I wasn't amenable to supervising at that time) and came away the first time he was called for the treat. I always wonder if a flavor will be something he likes, so if you wonder, he also like peanut butter and bacon treats and cheese. If those are the flavors your dog likes, they may also enjoy this treat. It's also very crunchy. He has to chew it a bit, not wolf it down. I break it into pieces, it breaks pretty easily.
