This inexpensive blood glucose monitor is a complete kit for testing your blood glucose. Included are 100 lancets and test strips. Not mentioned on this page are the replacement strips and lancets which you can buy 150/ea for about $17. So, you won't get stuck with a tester and no strips or lancets. The instructions are fairly straightforward for anyone who has done the process before. I wished the manual had better images. One thing that was not clear was which end of the test strip to insert in the meter. It's not difficult to figure out, but for someone just learning, it would be better to be clear. The lancing device worked perfectly and was painless. The tester and case are very compact and come with a zipper case, so are good for travel. ... show more

    • Great starter kit
Great starter kit. I've been testing a lot as I learn. I do multiple tests just because I want to see how accurate and repeatable the meter is. I have been pleased. Common lancets means I should be able to keep this for a while.
