I've purchased these for my daughter for her ballet classes and they seemed to fit her okay. I purchased a pair for the adult ballet classes and they were HUGE! Very odd how hers fit well, but mine were so big! They were unusable so I left them at the studio to see if someone else could use them.

What I like about this show is that I can wear it with the strap across my foot or not. Normally I wear a 7.5 so I order a size 8 thinking it would be okay because previous shoes like this one are in a size 8 and they are fine. But this one runs a little small. I should have ordered a 8.5 instead. The quality and appearance is good. The comfort of the shoe is okay I just should went up a whole size rather than a half size. ... show more

I don't typically prefer canvas, but these have a nice stretch and fit fairly well. They are well made. I do wish they had a drawstring elastic rather than the flat elastic to adjust better to the foot. I would recommend buying at least a half size small, I was swimming in my usual size!

These shoes are perfectly fine for beginners with smaller arches. I find the full sole is difficult to maneuver. The leather is also very stiff. I ordered 4 pair before I found the correct fit and I even measured per the instructions. For reference, I am a street 9 and the 6 regular was the right fit for me. I would recommend measuring your foot and ordering the size above and below. Also, I recommend ordering at least 2 weeks before you need them to allow return and reorder time. I would also recommend a split sole, canvas shoe to this one but that is personal preference. ... show more
