Great shoes and great quality. However, they do run small. I normally wear a 7.5. I originally ordered a 7.5 and they were way too tight and short. It felt like they were digging into my heels and my toes were tight up to the front. I returned them hassle-free. I ordered an 8.5 and they fit nicely. The leather is soft, yet snug. I've only worn them 2x but I'm told the leather will loosen up more, which will be fine. I've worn them with a lightweight footie sock. ... show more

Fantastic shoes but run about 2 sizes small. These sound great and the leather is soft and feels instantly broke in. I ordered my size, 8.5 and I could barely get me feet in them. I gifted them to someone else who wears a 7 usually.

These shoes are very small. My daughter usually wears a size 6 so I sized up and ordered a 7.5. They were still too small. They also didn’t come with laces. I’ll be returning them.

    • The best for experienced tappers!

My daughter had been taking tap for 5 years. She's always worn Capezio bc that's what her studio sells. When she started her teen class this fall, she wanted a 'better' tap shoe and BLOCH was at the top. It took 4 pair of different sizes/styles because we wanted to make sure of the fit. She loves them! Every dance shoe and maker is different. You should always look for the size guide to every pair of shoes your dancer needs( I have learned this the hard way!) Sizing help for tap shoes only--- So, she wears a 7.5M women. BLOCH recommends 1/2 size up from street. Well we know from experience they run smaller than that! The tap shoe should fit snug with the tips of the toes right up to the edge. Also The shoes should feel snug when your toes are flat. We decided on a Women's Size 9. This would also vary if she wanted to wear light socks, tights etc. I also left a tiny bit of room for stretch and growth as these are leather. I hope this helps other dance moms who want to find the right fit for your daughter. Her feet are important and you don't want to create foot problems in the future if she loves dance as much as my daughter does! They looked great but, they run very small. I suggest ordering a full size to a size and a half larger than usual.

I bought these shoes as an experienced tapper because all of the reviews said they were good quality for the price, but mine have proven to not be. I bought them in August, and now it is October and my left shoe is dead. The rubber just beneath the toe tap has completely split exposing the material underneath, which has made dancing in the shoes incredibly difficult. Of course I happened to realize this problem exactly one DAY before a big dance callback for an audition. I am very disappointed in the fact that these shoes seem to made with good quality, but only lasted two months. I do not know if it is a faulty shoe or what but I can hardly get the sounds out of that shoe at this point, and now I need to buy new shoes. ... show more
