The sage product came well-packaged and beautifully presented. White sage burns slow and clean, allowing for many uses. The burned sage odor is light and non-offensive, and dissipates quickly through open windows (recommended to drive out stale energy). Full instructions for use include positive chants and prayers to use while burning. This was purchased as a gift for my son and daughter-in-law’s new home. I really liked that the sage scent. It wasn’t overwhelming, to me, it was lightly scented. I would suggest a little more air flow in the house if smudging. It is smoke. However pleasant the smell. Make sure it is well snubbed out and place it in a bowl in a sink for safety. It is fire. Then store it to use it again. One I purchased said to bury the rest of the sage stick. It comes with an instruction booklet. I liked that. It worked like a charm for me removing negative energy from my home.

Well if it's supposed to get rid of evil spirits he still comes by! I can't get rid of him totally cause he pops by periodically and he's a pain in the butt when he is here,p but at least the house smells good! It's nicely packaged, not messy, and has low smoke output.
