    • HIGHLY pigmented, but very drying on hair.
I have Platinum-blonde colored short hair. I've gone through 1 bottle already of the Bleach Silver Shampoo (purchased initially in the UK in salon). I never use as a regular shampoo. I ordered more here, because I no longer live in UK. I don't know if the packaging has changed, but it is very different from my previous BLEACH Silver Shampoo I had before... CONS: -- Very runny, VERY drippy/messy, which isn't ideal to use in the shower, because it drips EVERYWHERE. And the dark purple pigment will stain clothing, under nails. Also, will REALLY sting if gets into eyes! -- The formula is EXTREMELY DRYING on hair. I only wash my hair every 3 days, I use copious amounts of conditioner, moisture masks, etc. This strips moisture out of my hair with regular use. -- Not recommended if your hair is not EVENLY Light blonde (for example, when I bleach my roots, they lift to yellow, with my ends nearly white blonde). The problem is, this product will turn your white ends of hair VERY PURPLE and then will nicely tone the more yellow roots, leaving you with blonde roots & full-on PURPLE ENDS that are difficult to fade/blend) PROS: --The most highly pigmented shampoo I've ever used for platinum blonde hair, works best if you're hair is an evenly lightened level: LIGHT BANANA YELLOW blonde (not orange, not white). --A little goes a LONG way here. -- This works well as a TONER if left in for a couple hours (if your hair allover is still banana yellow-ish) So what I do to remedy is: Mix a bit of this with a conditioner to thicken it, and leave-in hair as a toner. I apply with tint brush to lightly damp hair, leave it on for 2 hours or longer, then wash out and condition again. This method will dilute the heavy drippy pigment, make the product easier to apply, keep in moisture, and tone out the yellow after you bleach or touch up roots. ... show more

Purple concoction too aggressive on your hair color. Great for those brave who wants white ice cool color hair. If keep on head for too long, more than 5 min, hair and roots turn somewhat bluish - this is strictly from experience. That color "aged" me.

I have bright silver hair. It does help with the yellowing but also turns the roots lavender. It works best for me if I use it like a toner, applying it just to the yellow areas before I shower and leaving it on 10-15 minutes.

Doesn't leave your hair blue/purple like the other blue shampoos. Works best with the silver conditioner. Leave each on for 5 minutes. Everyone is different but this has been my experience. Will buy again.

Best purple shampoo I've tried!!!! I've tried all the high end and low end purple shampoos and this one is the best! Really pigmented purple so it will eliminate all the yellow in your hair and make it nice and white!. Worth the price I just wish it was bigger but honestly I dont mind paying cuz a little goes a long way!!!!. Will be buying again! ... show more

I will say it was a bit expensive but it is worth every penny. Works very well when followed by the Bleach conditioner. Be sure and follow directions and don't use too often or your hair will be blue. That being said that is true of all silver hair shampoos. I will buy this again.
