Been using this as a sketchbook and its great. The paper is relatively thick, definitely thicker than your average loose leaf paper and markers/pens do not bleed into the other pages. There's also a pocket at the back of the sketchbook which I personally found very useful. The faux leather has a nice feel to it, I've painted on mine a little and it holds the paint well enough (no chipping). Would reccomend 👍

The elastic strap was glued to the pages, causing a fairly small amount of damage and a lot of indented pages right in the middle of the journal. I’m not too upset because I will be covering it all up anyways but it was a bit of a disappointment. In the first photo you can see where the page was stuck to the strap. You can see the indentations on the pages in the third photo and the paper that is now fused to the elastic in the fourth photo. For me this isn’t a big deal, but it might be for you. Other than that, I do really like the journal. No funky smells, or the paper quality is perfect for what I need.

We go through tons of notebooks in this house to keep track of all the different projects we have going on. Kids love to have their own too, even if it's just to scribble. If I didn't have this I would be swimming in a sea of scrap paper all over the place!
