I see that it is stamped 925, so I’m hoping it’s true sterling silver. I’ll do a later review. I got butterflies in my stomach of how beautiful and connected it feels to me. Update: I reordered hoping the terrible ring I got was a fluke, since my first ring from a year ago was good. NOPE! This ring is absolutely terrible. So I ordered this ring a while ago and it was beautiful, looked just like picture but I lost it so I thought I would reorder it…. The ring I just got is absolutely terrible. Its not even round so it doesn’t fit right. The metal is so thick, my fingers don’t touch with it on. The wave is super lopsided. And its not even opal like my old one was (like the picture), its glitter with epoxy on it… However I am going to return and reorder and hope I get the right ring this time. ... show more

Last week, I ordered the ring on my right hand index finger. It is beautiful, color, shape, size was accurate. Loved it so much, I purchased another for a gift, exact same thing, just a bigger size, a 10. Very disappointed. The opal was not like the first, dull, missing filling in a small place, and the shape was off, not even round. The wave part is the part that is messed up, it's bent. Picture doesn't capture the off angle but forces the ring to be worn oddly ... show more

Ordered a size ten in gold color for my middle finger. I wear a size 6.5 wedding band. The ten is a little too loose, but I use my hands a lot, so I didn't want it to be uncomfortably tight if my hands got hot or swelled. The ring is so comfortable. And is holding its shape despite the abuse I inadvertently put it through. Only two annoyances... One, the gold coating flaked off within the first 72 hours of use. so now I have a strange goldish/silver ring, I like that combo, so I'm not bothered by it, but others might be. Two, whenever I try to put my hair up in a bun, my hair gets stuck on the wave. It's possible that this problem is because the ring is a little loose, but either way the shape is conducive to getting stuck on things. Otherwise, I love this ring, and will be ordering one for my husband soon too. ... show more

This ring is not opal inlay. I know what that looks like, much less that’s what’s pictured in the listing to compare it to. This appears to be paint glaze with glitter in it. It’s definitely NOT what it’s supposed to be. Will be returning.
