There are a lot of recipes and many which I think will be yummy. I had to take off a star because the breakfast section is more like a lunch or dinner section. The breakfast section is what I was really looking forward to. We absolutely love breakfast and was really disappointed because there is really not much listed that is breakfast worthy. All of the items sound more like sides and appetizers with the exception of the plantains. We do like the fundamental section to help you get started a lot of the recipes seem pretty simple and use fresh and minimal ingredients which is nice if you are trying to eat healthy. It is all black and white and there are not a lot pictures to entice you to make the recipe, but that is okay. I already see quite a few recipes that we are excited to try out. It will be a decent book for getting started but we will try to find a different book eventually that gives us actual breakfast recipes . ... show more
