We heard the fluttering noise while driving my 2010 Kia Soul on the toll-road. I thought I could wait until we got home to check it out - but after a THUNK noise, it was quiet and I saw the trim piece was doing cartwheels on the road behind me as it shattered into many pieces. Then the whistle of the wind was deafening as we continued our drive home. As I looked at the driver’s side trim on the car, it was looking to take flight soon as well. I searched several car part sites with no luck on the trim pieces, but a general search of the web brought me to Amazon and this very Ecotric page to purchase them. I thought I might have to pay several hundred for these trim items, but when I saw I could get a pair of them for less than $40 - I was overjoyed. I ordered them and they took several days to get to my house by USPS. Unfortunately, Amazon notified me the order had an error, and the Post Office had sent them back due to an error with the address label. I contacted the seller, and they were very nice to take care of the problem and get me another pair. The pair arrived, unfortunately they do not include instructions. Another search of YouTube showed a number of videos of average looking people putting these things on with their bare hands. How could I go wrong? I took me all of maybe 40 minutes to pry out the remaining broken part plugs (the new ones already had new plugs), clean the surface of the A pillar which had collected a lot of dirt in 13 years, lined up the holes to the plugs, carefully made sure they were on the A pillar correctly and pounded them on with my bare fist. Just like the videos on YouTube showed. So far, they look beautiful! I have not had a chance to drive the car yet, but the sound has to be much better than before. I do want to thank the folks at Ecotric for their help in replacing the parts the Post Office had shipped back and doing it all in a reasonable amount of time.

I purchased these trim pieces to replace the original pieces on my 2011 Kia Soul after they had become very faded and ugly. The new trim pieces match the black paint on the rest of my vehicle nicely and immediately make it look more new. The passenger side trim piece popped on without any issue, although as received, the rubber seal was not securely attached by the included adhesive over an approx 3-in length. I fixed it with a little super glue before installing. Also, I had a bit of difficulty installing the driver side trim piece. The top fastener was slightly misaligned with the corresponding hole in the car, making it difficult to install. A bit of excessive (my opinion) force finally popped the fastener in place. The issue could have been my car, vice the trim piece, but I kind of doubt it. The trim pieces seem like rather flimsy plastic, as compared to the original Kia pieces. But at this price, and with some of the other reviews, I was expecting this. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, though I am nervous about how long the driver's side piece will last without breaking or cracking. I can recommend them, but buyer beware of minor quality issues.

Car looks like new again. It really made a difference. Still do not know why they shipped each side separately, but they came with all hardware and seals. I am happy with the purchase. Installing it was a breeze.

After two windshield replacements,the original on the right side was weak and flew off going down the hwy. Only needed one, but for a few dollars more, I opted for the pair. Thanks You for a great part.
