Hard rubber/felt protectors slip right on. They come in several sizes assuring you get the right fit. The rubber “sleeve” makes putting them on easy while preventing them from slipping off. The pad is felt so the chair can glide easily across the floor without marring it.

This set was prefect. Just what I needed. Good quality. Photo was accurate to product, except I only got 8. If you read the description it says 8.. but I made the mistake of looking at the photo. Which clearly shows 16. I needed 16 so I'm bummed. I would have ordered a different brand had I caught that. I looked at about 7 other products. In the end it's my mistake, but alot of companies do this on purpose because they know it's easy to confuse customers this way.
