I've used this chair for three summers now, probably 40 to 50 times, and absolutely love it. I'm 300 lbs and was worried about breaking more traditional portable chairs. With this chair there is no worry! Its so comfortable the way it cradles you and with its light padding. I typically sit in it for a couple hours at a time. Even my normal weight friends love to use it and razz me for having such a fancy chair. The seams are all holding up well, and the chair is quite sturdy and durable. There are a couple disadvantages to be aware of. The chair sits a little on the low side and for heavy people with big stomachs like me, its a little difficult to get out of. With all the weight, its hard to lean forward enough to just stand up. I have to push off the arms with my hands when getting up. Despite all the weight I put on those arms, they have shown no sign of collapse, damage or failure. Another thing to be aware of is that the chair is a bit heavy to carry very long distances and even when in its bag, it's a bit on the big side, so it takes up more room in your vehicle. Speaking of the carry bag, it's nicely built and isn't too difficult to put the chair in like some other regular sized folding chairs. This chair is very comfortable but I was looking for something that has the ultimate comfort. This is not it. While sitting most of my leg hangs off. It pretty much just holds you butt. I want something that has a bigger seat which it looks like it has but it doesnt.

The chair is great! It’s large and very comfy. Took it camping with family and friends and everyone wanted to steal this chair to sit in because it was so comfy. I was worried that it might be difficult to pack-up because it’s large, but it wasn’t at all. It’s easy to carry, too. My only complaint is the carrying bag. The chair itself feels very durable but the bag is made of thin material and already has 2 holes in it. I wasn’t smart enough to double check before I used it, so not sure if it came that way or if I did it, but I’ve only unpacked and repacked it one time, so that’s disappointing. I bought this mainly because of two things, it has a high back for head support and the sides aren’t open under the arm rests. This was bought for an individual that suffers from multiple autoimmune disorders and they get cold very easily and they lack strength in their neck. We like camping and it’s a challenge to find items that people that are disabled to use. While I think this chair was intended for larger individuals as it has a 400lbs limit it’s perfect for people with a multitude of issues. I have bought 4 of these chairs. I like the size and shape and they have been great. However, on one of them the right arm rest broke off. It is made of cheap thin metal. I'm pretty sure this chair is rated for 300 to 300 lbs. I am 270 lbs and the arm broke off simply from standing up and using the arm for support. ... show more
