This sealant has been great for my exterior projects, to give painted wood better protection against the elements. At first I thought i was going to have to really cake it on there, but it actually goes on great in smooth even thin layers. I found one brush dip shoveled quite a bit onto the brush, but then that amount easily covered the entire back of the board you see me painting with it in my images (roughly 1 ft x 1.5ft square). And another dip did the front, which has a little trim work on it, and that barely used any of the supply, I could still use it for lots more projects. I've tried other sealants that are more typical for this kind of work and I like this better, the thick rubber seal just feels much stronger. Also there was no yellowing or blueing at all, and it's crystal clear. Dry time is good, a couple hours in the sun and you can handle it, it's basically dry, but then another 24 hrs it's fully dry. Cleanup is super easy: it's water based. Little soap and water, done. I used it outside but did not notice any particularly strong odors. When i was cleaning the brush out inside later with hot soapy water, I did smell a kind of chemical odor a bit, so I would recommend you use this outside or in extremely well ventilated conditions, but generally I didn't smell it at all and it's definitely not overwhelming. It arrives in a really nice double lid container where the top lid is mostly just there to keep the inner lid fully sealed and compressed, this worked out great to make sure it was completely fresh when i opened it. ... show more

I am currently in the middle of remodeling an entire bathroom (it is in an old mobile and was not even usable) and needed a cost-effective solution to salvage my existing bathtub without a full replacement (which is not affordable for me right now). This clear, liquid rubber waterproof sealant fit the bill perfectly. It’s a straightforward, brush-on agent designed for tile and shower repairs, and right out of the container, it’s exactly as advertised. The application process is completely painless, it brushes on pretty smoothly. It was dry to the touch in about three hours, and after curing for a day and a half, the finish looked perfect. It maintains a slight bit of flexibility once dried, which is exactly what you want in a waterproofing agent to handle natural expansion and prevent future cracking. While I can't speak to its decade-long durability just yet, for the current price point and immediate results, it’s an absolute win. I have zero complaints about how it looks or functions. Tried this on a couple small problem spots around the bathroom and it worked pretty well. The biggest thing I liked is that it dries clear, so you don’t end up with a messy-looking patch or changing how everything looks. It goes on like a thin liquid and spreads easily. I used a brush to apply it and it leveled out nicely without a lot of effort. Once it dries, it forms a flexible coating that seems to seal up minor cracks and gaps. Works best on smaller leaks or preventative use—not really meant for major damage—but for things like around tile edges, window seams, or small cracks, it does the job. The waterproof sealant works really well and does exactly what it's supposed to. the color is truly clear, so it doesn't mess up the look of the surface. The effectiveness is great, it sealed small leaks and cracks without any issues. After it dried, it felt strong, so the durability seems solid. Great price point for this package of rubber waterproof sealant. I selected the clear and it is working perfectly. White and black are also available. I looked over the packaging as well as the listing and couldn't find anywhere that stated the amount in the container. I put it next to a quart of paint and felt that was what I was looking at - a quart of clear rubber waterproof sealant. The listing states that it can be used on Wood, Metal, Glass, Plastic, Concrete, and Others. I am using it at our brick chimney where the brick and steel flashing meet and then transitions to our steel roof, on our gutters and where I have replaced wood trim on our home to create a waterproof seal.
