So let me start by saying this is the best looking sport roll bar I have ever seen exept for the huge loggo on the side which I hid with a off road light( Bunder Indust 7") It seems well made and easy to install that's why I still gave it 3 stars now that said - It "DOES NOT" fit a 4th or 5th gen Ram 2500 I even called Black Horse before I purchased it to verify they said it does but "IT DOES NOT" it is 100% 3" short side to side luckly I own a full service shop so cutting modifying welding and matching paint only took a few hours but if you don't have these types of resources or want something 100% bolt on do not buy 😉 So even with all the modification hassle and a trip to the ER for 14 stapeles in my leg because a grinder disk exploded during modification "OUCH" I still would buy this thing it looks AWESOME ... show more

the Blackhorse website and amazon both stated custom fit for a 2001 ford f-150. it is not custom, but it does fit. all you need to know is your bed width. there was no way to drill into the sides of my truck and secure with bolts. it does fit tight enough that I don't need bolts but prob gonna have a friend spot weld the bolts if the new spray in bedliner doesn't hold them in place( getting that mon.) was tight enough that ive taken a few 2hour drives on an 80mph freeway and its been holding up. if u see the first pic it sits a little high on the plastic covers. it you want it to look good it does from a few feet away but up close, like I said not custom. I have had one person already ask me where I got it cuz he thought It looked sweet! (amazon is cheaper than Blackhorse.com), his wife pulled him away before we could talk much. I have a light bar accessory that I got at autoanything.com to help me put a light bar on. it looks like it should be a piece of cake but I haven't put those on yet (waiting on bedliner).- again not custom but does look good- just need to make sure your bed is the correct width--- it will fit any make or model w/ the correct bed width ... show more

Does NOT fit Ram 3500. It’s about 3” too narrow to make it to both sides of the bed. I like the way it looks so I am going to modify it to fit.... wish me luck.

If you have an F250 this is advertised as fitting. From the photos you can see that it is at least 2" to narrow and another 2" to short. There is no way of bolting this on to you F250. On the manufacturer's box it says it is for 1/2 ton. Took 2 hours to put together, another 1 hour to take apart, and 2 hours packing, driving in Houston traffic to return (lost 5 hours of labor on this Black Horse Roll Bar. It does look nice for the right truck, Definitely not a F250. ... show more

The fit was lousy. Doesn’t allow enough adjustment. Major gaps. Bowed in the middle because bound up. Doesn’t contour with the bed sides at all.
