I normally wear a size large, so that is what I purchased. It fit perfectly. If you prefer it loose you could go up. The material is typical for this type of coat, 65% polyester / 35% cotton. It was comfortable to wear. It has both a breast pocket and a small divided pocket on the sleeve a narrow one for a thermometer or pen and a wider one. The coat is single stitched everywhere. There were several loose threads, where they hadn’t trimmed it well. A spare button is also included, sewn on the inside. The coat was fairly easy to button & unbutton. I am not a chef but, I feel like one in this jacket. There is a double button row to close that provides that distinctive chef appearance and a fold over collar. The material is light but tough and surprisingly comfortable. The quality of the stitching and panel assembly is really good. The sleeves have a bit of a flare to them which I'd have liked to be more fitted but is definitely a benefit when doing a lot of motion with your arms. Good summer weight coat because it is lightweight and more so than the ones you buy in the stores. Sizing was accurate. Handy pockets. Decent price, little cheaper than the ones you buy in the store, so I guess a little lighter weight is to be expected.

This coat is lightweight, comfortable, and easy to move around in during a shift. The style looks clean and professional. Only thing is it’s not super thick, so don’t expect anything heavy duty, but for regular kitchen use it works just fine.
