But once I did that, the straw went straight through and was easy. When I was done, you press down on the seal and it stays closed! His party was a month and a half ago and it is still inflated.

I got 2 of these and one had a small hole. I put tape on it and it's holding for now. 2 of the other numbers will not hold air so those are useless. NOT money well spent! We will not have the year in balloons at party. Disappointed!
