Cannot be happier with this purchase. After lots of researching here at Amazon I came to the conclusion that this product would be exactly what we needed and I was right. We didn't want a stain-protect solution because the stain-protection is like a dust magnet. This one cleaned everything great and didn't leave behind that crispy carpet feeling when done. The defoamer works great as well. Not a bubble in the dirty water tank! You can see in our carpet cleaning photos what a section looked like before beginning, what it looked like after doing half of the carpet with 5 to 6 passes (3 to 4 with soap on and 2 more with soap off to soak up the soap), what the same spot looked like when clean and then the entire room clean (plus the blue carpet dryer which was drying towards the entry way). I just bought a Bissell BG10 Big Deep Cleaning Machine and decided to buy this for use with the machine. Love it...the price is outstanding and it is extremely easy to mix in the tank since the machine and solution was made for each other. I cleaned a 13-year-old carpet with tracks and dog accidents that led my wife and I to replace the carpet. This solution removed all pet smells and it left the carpet clean without any residue. The bottom line is we decided to keep the carpet which saved us $450 in the cost of replacing the carpet with hardwood. I highly recommend this solution based on cleaning effectiveness and is very economical in price. I will only use this solution in my machine!

Got this for my Big Green Carpet Shampooer, works amazing! I use it for my cleaning business, customers are always happy. Smell is great and does a great job lifting all the dirt and grime. I would recommend!

I bought both this and the 2X because I didn't want to "stain-protect" some heavily-soiled carpet at my (machine shop) garage entry, until it was clean. So I conducted a very-thorough side-by-side over 10-hours of cleaning. I think this commercial-complete smells as-nice (if not better) and cuts heavily-stained (oil, dirt, working-garage types of stains) better than the 2X did. While I can't speak to the future stain-fighting difference, I can tell you there is a BIG difference in frothing of the collection-bucket using the 2X-soap. Even using 4-capfuls of this commercial versus 2-capfuls of the 2X-soap, the commercial never frothed while the 2X-stuff frothed every time by the end of the water-tank, so much so that I had to shut down and empty the BigGreen shampooer before my water tank was empty, because it was sucking suds into the top of the vacuum. I did do a "finish" run across my carpets with the 2X-soap, to lay down some future-protection, but I have no idea if it makes any difference or not.

I’ve had my big green machine ten years and it’s been a work horse. Don’t let that label fool you- this stuff says it can only be used on the professional. (Or was it commercial) doesn’t matter because the two machines are literally the same. The only difference is one is a newer model and has a detachable power cord. The insides are the exact same. I’m not quite sure why Bissel calls one big green professional and one big green commercial (gotta love marketing) don’t be scared off by the label saying it can only be used on one and nothing else. Big green pro = big green commercial so buy this shampoo and be amazed at how well it works. You’ll be happy you did.

Works as expected... cleans your carpet. Only trouble is that it does not specify the dilution. I used the dilution factor of 4 cups to the square tub on the machine. Seems to do the job fine. For best results, you really need to turn the machine on and let the brush scrub the soiled areas going back and first over tough spots. I really believe it was the machine doing all the work, not the detergent itself.
