I have been told that these are fantastic sandals but I always balked at the price. Now that I’ve bought a pair and wore them for a summer, I have to say that they are well worth the price! Super comfortable! Great fit! Definitely durable! I would highly recommend.

    • Nothing like them!
Love these sandals! I usually wear an 8 1/2 and the 39's fit perfectly. I didn't have a problem with comfort out of the box. They felt a bit stiff but this went away fast as the shoe footbed started to mold to the shape of my foot. I would suggest to make sure that you have the buckle adjusted so that your foot does fit snugly into the shoe. This will help keep your foot where it is supposed to be in the shoe and hopefully prevent any toe bar issues that some people have encountered. These shoes simply get more comfortable as you wear them. I love the arch support as well. I think that they look great and I definitely will get a lot of use out of them. I wear flip flops a lot in the summer and I can definitely tell the difference when I go from flip flops to wearing these shoes. So much more support and my feet just feel better when I wear these shoes. ... show more

    • Super cute and comfortable.
I took the advice of other reviewers when ordering the first time around and wound up with the wrong fit. I normally wear an 8/8.5 in most shoes and first tried a 38M in this style. I have C width feet and my toes are on the shorter side. The toe bar on the 38 wound up being under my foot instead of in between my foot and my toes like it should be. The arch also didn't seem to line up right. The 39M works better for me as the size chart suggests but everyone is different. If you are an A or B width you might prefer an N width as the M fits like a wide. I think the width is just as important for insuring a great fit. Now that the fit is correct I love the way they feel. I don't have issues with my feet but do have scoliosis and I am always on the hunt for cute shoes that are also supportive for my back. I love Birkenstocks and have owned many pairs throughout my lifetime. Be warned that this particular model/style takes longer to break in than most. They are uncomfortable at first, but after a few weeks break-in feel comfy like other Birkenstocks. It takes a while… something about the thing in between your toes. ... show more

I love these Birkenstock style. They are comfortable and are easy to wear. The value for the price was good. The size fit perfectly to what I wear. They didn’t have a smell and they are made out of good quality material. They say not to get them wet so I haven’t been able to clean as of yet. I would buy these again. ... show more

I haven’t not had these sandals six months and they both have split! See above picture. What a disgrace, I was convinced by a friend to purchase these not pretty shoes for the comfort. What a mistake I almost tripped and took out my two front teeth. Please make mark this right.

I purchased a pair of Birkenstock almost five years ago, and they still are in wearable shape. The dog had nine puppies, and the sandals survived even being a chew toy! That’s when I realized that these brand of shoes may not be as expensive as I thought, a pair that lasts more than four years, is of good quality, and I appreciate that. I ordered one pair for mua, and another pair as a gift for my three decades old daughter, my first born, as a bday gift. When it Comes to comfort I don’t think they’re that comfy though, but they’re cute. ... show more
