I've been wearing the Arizona style since 1998. Obviously I like it very much. I was surprised that it was difficult to find my size (39) when I first went online about two weeks ago to order a new pair, comparing prices at different sites. Sold out in the different brown shades that I favor! Also, I've always bought the more rigid leather straps, as it's easier to slip feet into them than into the softer, floppier suede. Love the look and the fit. I ordered one size smaller than I wear because these are unisex and figured they would run large needing to fit men too. I was right. One size smaller was perfect. The only negative so far is there's no cushion at all. I'm not used to that. Maybe it's part of Birkenstock because they have to the arch support and all, not sure. But I do really like them and am getting used to them. I wear them a lot. ... show more

Gift for my daughter. She loves them and has been using them for several years! She takes good care of her things and they still look almost like new. I expect she will get several more years of wear from them. Understand she has other shoes and does not wear these exclusively though.

    • Sizing misleading and it cost me.
I know what size to order but the sizing chart was misleading. I ended up with the wrong size, a men's instead of a women's.......I have to pay to return these. The description says unisex... maybe that's why it was misleading. I'm not happy with this company's info on Amazon.

Got these as a surprise for my gf. I always heard about the quality of these and I was kind of dissappointed and surprised at how quickly the sole started pulling away from the shoe. I know you can send them in to get resoled, but this is the first summer with them (we can't wear sandals in winter up here) and it's not like we are running marathons with them.
