I received my shoes 4 days ago and have worn them every day. I am a true size US 8 but ordered the 7-7.5 (38) after reading reviews and they fit perfectly. I think the next size up would have been awkwardly too big... meaning clumsily tripping in them too big. They are pretty wide even in the smaller size. Like all Birkenstocks you have to break them in so they conform to your feet, but these don't take long and they were never uncomfortable enough for me to have to give my feet a rest from them. I live in a pretty sandy place and absolutely HATE sand in my shoes. The ridge around the footbed helps keep it out but it's inevitable that some will find its way in. I grabbed the hose pipe and sprayed my feet while wearing the shoes and they were good as new. I did sling one off while trying to shake the water out but since I was still holding the hose it was no biggie. Walked straight into the garage (we all know how slick a garage floor is in wet shoes!) and never lost traction. When these wear out I will definitely buy another pair. Matter of fact, I may go ahead and do it now just in case they are discontinued. ... show more

Fantastic version of the traditional Arizonas, only in a rubbery material. Has fantastic footbed Birtkinstocks are known for, plus high arches. Bought them because I moved into a new home full of tile—they’ve definitely reduced the stress and fatigue on my legs and my back. Colors aren’t true from the website screen, but the silver is acceptable. Not your typical hippie Birkie given that it’s basically plastic, Made in Germany. Cushy. Meets my needs.
