I ordered a narrow as I have a rather narrow foot; however, while the length of the shoe is perfect, the width is too wide. If I tighten the strap across my instep to the tightest hole, it's too tight against my instep. However, I have a little higher instep than normal. The footbed comfort is awesome. My feet never get tired in these shoes. I'm planning to try either the felt or a suede in the same style in the hopes that the material/leather will be soft enough to allow for my higher instep so that I can have the buckle on the tightest hole. The only reason I gave these shoes 4 stars rather than 5 was the width issue. If you have a medium width foot, I would think the narrow would fit fine. I need to update my review since I've now worn these clogs for a week or two. The leather which originally was quite stiff, is now more broken in. So I can now tighten the buckle to the tightest hole and these shoes now fit well and I'm not walking out of them. Yay! If my feet are tired from wearing other shoes, I find instant foot relief when I slip into my Birks. I thought my Crocs were comfortable, but these Birks far surpass the Crocs in comfort and provide much more support for my feet and arches. I love them and have already ordered another pair in gray wool felt.

I am a chef in NYC, very fast pace 3 star restaurant and I ended up catching one of the worst things a chef can catch, which is plantar fasciitis, anyone who has had this knows that it is painful, for me I had/have it on both feet. I went to therapy, I received shots and was told to stay off my feet for months. Well telling a chef to stay off his feet is like telling a cop he can't have his badge or gun... when having plantar fasciitis you have to change a lot, one is the shoes you wear, for me I couldn't wear dress shoes or boots, I changed my chef shoes and sneakers, after so much research I tried these and they were the best fit for me, now, I am not sure if anyone else can wear these or would be allowed to wear these if they are prepers or line cooks but since I'm the head chef they don't bother me, but because these don't have a back they may be an issue for management. However, these are a god sent as they help me so much, I also changed to Nike Air as I read that also helps with plantar fasciitis. These were the best shoes I've ever used. Again, before buying these to use make sure you let the chef know or management know if you can first, if they don't care, go for it, you will not regret it.... Also, they are slip resistant but not as good as a really good chef shoe, but they are good enough for a fast pace restaurant

5 YEAR UPDATE: I'm still wearing these shoes daily to work and running errand. I'm on my third set of footbeds thanks to my local Birkenstock repair center (new cork footbed and soles run about $70-80). I'm pretty hard on shoes, and these take quite the beating and keep going. I totally love them! The photo was taken just after my third footbed (the tops are squished in the photo, but they still hold the shape). Original Review: These shoes are wonderful because they meet all the requirements for my workplace dress code and they are comfortable. An added bonus for me is our local shoe store is an authorized Birkenstock repair shop. That means this clogs will last for forever! If you're thinking of purchasing these, keep these things in mind: - Birkenstocks require a longer break in period than other shoes. They soften over time and become custom fit to your foot. - These are NOT for wandering through puddles. The cork at the back is sealed, but the sealant will need refreshing occasionally. I purchased a small bottle of cork glue from my local dealer and make sure to treat the cork occasionally. - The sole does have latex in it, however, the footbed (the part your feet will come in contact with) is leather. This was an initial concern for me as I'm allergic to latex. I haven't had a single reaction to these shoes, so no worries. :) These shoes are pretty much like a dream come true! Birkenstock for me marries function and comfort. Perhaps they aren't the most fashionable, but an extra long slack means that my boss is none the wiser and I don't get lectured about how I live in hippie sandals.

I had been looking around trying to find a deal on these. I originally ordered them (for $80-something) from a different website and accidentally ordered the wrong size. When I realized my mistake I called them and they were sold out in the size I needed. I absolutely simply could NOT find them ANYWHERE online. Eventually, randomly, I searched on Amazon. I was shocked to find them here!! Of course, they had them listed at their full price of $130 which I really didn't want to pay, so you can imagine my delight when I saw them listed for $52-something under "Used & New." The pair I got was listed as being in "Used - Very Good" condition, with the description saying that they showed minor wear like they had been tried on but not worn. I decided to risk it. 1) These things got here SO fast. We actually ordered my husband a pair of Birks from another sight online. Despite having ordered his a good week or more before ordering these, mine got here only ONE day after his!!! 2) They don't look worn at all!!! The soles are perfect, there are no signs of wear really that I can see at all. Heck, the actual shoe box was still closed with a Birkenstock sticker & the Birkenstock tag was still on the shoe. Sum Up - LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Highly recommend shopping from here and, believe me, I will be checking back here FIRST when I need my next pair of Birks!!

I bought these leather clogs for my husband, and they’ve quickly become a favorite for casual wear around the house and running errands. The leather is high-quality and softens nicely over time, molding to the foot for that signature Birkenstock comfort. The cork footbed provides excellent support, making them ideal for long periods of standing or walking. The style is timeless and versatile, pairing well with casual outfits without looking sloppy. The only minor drawback is sizing as it can feel a bit snug at first, especially across the toe box, so a break-in period is necessary. Once worn in, though, they’re very comfortable and supportive. Overall, these are well-made, reliable clogs that deliver the comfort and durability Birkenstock is known for. These are a great buy for comfort, craftsmanship, and classic style, with only minor fit considerations to keep in mind.

Highly recommended, these are very comfortable and the fit is perfect. I ruptured my plantar fasciitis and these were recommended by my doctor to help with scar tissue that was bothering me. I have to say being on my feet 12 hours these help.

Several issues with this order that led me to return the shoes immediately after receiving them. Let me start with the pros about this order before I get into the cons… PROS: 1. Color is on point, true to the listing photo. 2. They arrived a day earlier than anticipated. CONS: 1. I ordered these shoes under the false pretense of them being a softbed style, which unfortunately it is not. The shoe is extremely uncomfortable and rigid, not in asupportive way, and not in the same fashion as my other current Birkenstocks and those in the past. 2. I ordered these as a “New” item, which they also were not. The shoes arrived with scratches (not scuffs) as well as stains (not aged leather markings) which appear to be liquid, as well as possibly black mold stains. 3. The shoes arrived in an damaged box, however they were so squished into the box that the tops of them were pushed in so tightly that I was barely able to get my foot into them. 4. I am typically a size 8-8.5 womens, regular/medium width, however I ordered these in a size 9W/7M (regular width) as I had been searching for them and they were only $108, compared to the Birkenstock website which was $155. They were too big, so I would have returned them anyways simply based on this, however the 2 issues outlined above warranted a return anyhow. This is not the fault of the seller, but rather an ordering error on my part. Hope this helps!

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. I am ki nda cheap so I usually don't spend a lot of money on shoes bit these are totally worth it, plus I got them at a great price! At lot of review I read people complained how uncomfortable they were and how their feet hurt after wearing them. Nonsense, first off don't wear them o. Day o e for 12hrs straight, in fact don't do that with any brand new pair of shoes! I normally wear crocs at home, between kids and pets it's safer to wear something on your feet. So I've been breaking these in, and I gotta say my feet feel to much better at the end of the Day! I love that they are easy to slip on and off as needed. As far as fit I ended up ordering a 37 M. I usually have the but a size women's 7 to allow most shoes to fit comfortably. I have wide feet and these shoes are wide enough I could order true to size, 6.5 women's. High arcs and a wide toes box, are a great fit for my feet. I will be ordering another pair soon in black for work! I am a RN and work 12hr night shifts so good shoes are critical in my line of work!
