I searched a while for ‘the perfect baskets’ for my desk. When my husband and I purchased our new home, I could not for the life of me understand why the previous homeowners wanted a built in desk in their dining room. I couldn’t be happier with these! They’re exactly what I was looking for to hide away office necessities like printer paper, extra ink cartridges, etc., yet still have a clean, polished look in our office space. These three storage baskets arrived in great shape! Quality woven material with a beautiful deep rich brown color. The lid on the middle basket does not fit down tight on the base basket but I imagine it will fit better over time...that is the reason for the four star rating instead of five stars. A winner! I had been looking for nesting baskets to put in my living room, when the box arrived today the first thing I noticed was the weight, they feel substantial. They came in a box and within the box each basket was neatly wrapped in brown paper, tearing off the paper I first noticed the colors. The baskets are a mixture of browns, less honey than the picture appears, but beige, mid and darker browns a rustic finish overall. The baskets have a wire frame for the lid and base which gives them a solid structure. I have a lot of wood tones in my living room and these compliment perfectly. I am using them to store and organize the enormous pile of dog clothes I have, so I don't have to put the Velcro items in with the sweaters. I mention this because the interior of the baskets although not lined feels fairly smooth and not rough and jagged so I feel pretty confident putting them in there without them getting pulled or snagged. The baskets are made in the Philippines if any one is interested, they also arrived earlier than expected. I will order from this seller again. ... show more

Excellent baskets. They are well-made and sturdy and the lids fit well. I’m using them to store miscellaneous items neatly on shelves in my living room, and these work perfectly. So far my cats have not chewed them, either.
