I love this stuff. I have been using it for the last few years. I used to clean a guy's house that was a plant chemist/plant scientist. He had multiple degrees but his business was making chemicals for use in agriculture and gardening. He told me about this and it has saved me soooo much time and money. It doesn't kill all weeds, but it does prevent most weeds (at least the ones in my area) from germinating and spreading. I do one spray in the spring after the snow melts and then once at the end of summer. I did forget to do it at the end of last summer before the weeds started coming back and so I did have to deal with that and now I have crab grass growing in my lawn. :( But since I sprayed it again at least it hasn't spread. This particular one doesn't kill crab grass but it does keep it from germinating in the first place. You need a different weed killer for that. I do have a bare spot on my property that hasn't been landscaped yet. So in order to keep it from growing weeds uncontrollably I spray this. If weeds have already started to grow, I spray this on FIRST and then wait about a week then spray with a weed killer. Works every time. If you kill the weeds first and wait to use this, during your waiting period there are new weeds germinating. I know they are unsightly but it's worth it in the long run. I did once get a defective bottle so I got a new one and once that was empty just put the weed preventer in the new bottle, but other than that, I have had no issues with this product.

I had no idea what to expect from this product. A lawn care company had done a great job enhancing my lawn (for several hundred dollars) but the following year they managed to totally kill it off on each side of my home. I was horrified. They planted grass plugs, which I babied for months but then weeds took over. So, after I had nourished the lawn a bit, I tried this and WOW. The weeds just sort of disappeared. I had used it in a small area so today I did the whole of one side and can't wait to see the difference. Then, I need to re-order and do the other side. Nice product! And, so much cheaper than the lawn service!! ****Edit**** I did find the dial to get the water flowing through the container to be extremely difficult to move so hope that can be changed so I don't have to look for another weed control product. :)

I have used this product in the past with good results for my lawn. I gave this purchase four stars because the hose-end spray mechanism built into the bottle refused to work this time. It would not let the contents through the sprayer, so I was actually only spraying water on my lawn. This bottle had a new spray design, so that needs to be considered as a possible reason for the malfunction. I had to pour the contents into my Ortho dial ‘n spray to be able to use this product.

My yard was the shame of my neighborhood. I had so many weeds that it hardly even looked like a lawn. I had to put on tick spray every time I ventured even near my yard. I had tried some of other lawn weed control, and the weeds would half die and then grow back with a vengeance and multiple generations of progeny within a few days. I read the reviews on this and gave it a try. Within about 12 hours, the weeds started to wither. Within about 4 days, the weeds were virtually gone with no damage to the grass. It is now ten weeks from the time I applied this and I would say I only have one or two occasional weeds on the edge of my lawn. It's really remarkable how well it worked and how long it's lasted. I will definitely be buying this again next year, but next year I will do what I should have done this year, and that's take before and after photos. Highly recommended.

I use this every year on my yawn, it just works! easy to attach to a water hose and spread. Results are seen in days of weeds dying. I have neighbors on both sides of me that don't do any sort of treatment to their lawns, barely cut their grass on a regular basis. I normally use this every 3/4 months to keep the weeds from penetrating my lawn, so it doesn't last 6 months on one treatment for me, but it works.

The container design is the worst I have ever used. I didn't realize that the picture on Amazon doesn't match what was sent to me until after I used it. Most designs for this spray weed and feed have an easy lever that you can manipulate but not this product. I have liked most of the bioadvanced products I have used but will never get this again. Trying to turn it off and on is nothing short of a nightmare. While you are holding the spraying pesticide, you have to used one hand to pull back a tab and then use the other hand to turn a not so friendly knob. I am either going to have some dead grass in one area or the most beautiful section of lawn you have ever seen as I was in one spot trying to get the dang thing turned off. I went and got pliers and twisted the tab until it came off. Even with the tab off, not easy to use. Learn from me - get a different brand who has invested in their packaging components.

I bought 2 bottles to treat my lawn. The first bottle worked great and the results a week or two later were as advertised. The second bottle I finished “watering” in and noticed the product did not mix into the watering component and the bottle was full of herbicide concentrate still. I essentially just watered the lawn. After inspection and trying different methods, it appeared the mechanisms on the bottle were faulty. Don’t know the fail rate. But having 1 of 2 bottles outright fail for the price paid was disappointing.
