BioAdvanced Season Long Weed Control is essential for easy management of lawn weeds. This concentrate features a 2-in-1 formula designed to kill existing listed lawn weeds while also preventing new ones from emerging. Mix this concentrate with water and use it with a weed killer sprayer for up to 6 months of protection against over 200 listed weeds, including dandelion, dollarweed, clover, and wild onion. Simply apply between Spring and Fall, when temperatures range from 50 to 90 degrees, for optimal results. The formula provides rainproof protection after just one hour, making sure it won't be easily washed away by water or rain. Suitable for coverage of up to 9,000 square feet, this weed killer should not be used on carpetgrass, St. Augustinegrass, Floratam, Dichondra, or desirable clovers to avoid damage. Be sure to water the area as instructed, I waited about an hour and a half. I had allot of different weeds mixed in the grass and it has taken a few applications but weeds are pretty much gone.

I wish I would of taken before and after pictures. My front yard was a disaster after hurricane Helene. More weeds than grass and some patches were 6 feet wide of JUST dandelion greens. I have one of those weed pulling tools and spent hours trying to pull them up. That worked of course but took way too much time. So I tried this and a week after spraying those big patches of dandelion greens are GONE. There are only a few weeds left in my yard but for the most part everything I wanted gone is GONE now. Bayer has a pretty extensive line and is better in my opinion than many brand-name weed killers, with that said it will not kill crab grass I was like wtf, i put this down and my crab grass did not die. So have to put down a different product. Although in Bayers defense they make an all-in-one, the caveat is that it's not for all Season long weed prevention :( sucks right? So yeah if you have weeds it does a pretty decent job. Again depends on what you need to accomplish with your lawn. Recommended use gloves and a mask and if you have safety glasses in case it gets windy you have all of your bases covered. Good to use old clothes and shoes and take them off before you go into your house. I imagine anyone who had their grass die after using this, has one of the variety's of grass that it says not to use it on. Also, timing is everything. You don't use this in September when you should be seeding like I read another reviewer had done. Also, you don't put it on newly seeded yards unless you want it to kill the grass seed as it germinates. Also, do not aerate your yard after you put this down as it works season long by creating a herbicidal barrier on the surface of the ground. Aerating disturbs this barrier and allows the weeds to grow and establish. My personal experience/observations Early September through November and Late March through May are transition months when your yard is changing between cool and hot season weeds. Your wasting your time and money applying then. At least around zone 7 you are. I apply it when the seasons weeds are first up, but have not produced blooms or seeds yet. This window of opportunity is very small I have found. Sometimes only a couple weeks. You can put it down earlier, but it may not get you through the whole season. and a second application may exceed the max annual rate. My yard never looked better than after I started using this product. Some other personal suggestions: 1. Get a soil test. 2. Only Fertilize in the Fall/Winter. 3. Fertilize in three separate applications a month apart. 4. Only apply Bayer Season Long Weed Control AFTER over-seeding is well established. 5. Use a blend of grass seed. The container design is the worst I have ever used. I didn't realize that the picture on Amazon doesn't match what was sent to me until after I used it. Most designs for this spray weed and feed have an easy lever that you can manipulate but not this product. I have liked most of the bioadvanced products I have used but will never get this again. Trying to turn it off and on is nothing short of a nightmare. While you are holding the spraying pesticide, you have to used one hand to pull back a tab and then use the other hand to turn a not so friendly knob. I am either going to have some dead grass in one area or the most beautiful section of lawn you have ever seen as I was in one spot trying to get the dang thing turned off. I went and got pliers and twisted the tab until it came off. Even with the tab off, not easy to use. Learn from me - get a different brand who has invested in their packaging components. ... show more
