Bought these with the mindset that I can do multiple Workouts with the same set. I really enjoy the dumbbell setup and using the both kettle bell handles to do pushups. These are very nice, entry level adjustable dumbbells. There a something like 11 or 12 different weight levels (using this set as dumbbells), with weight increases ever 2-3 pounds. I definitely appreciated the ability to have smaller weight increases. The grip knurling is actually pretty decent, kind of a midrange aggressiveness. The knurling plus the plastic handles help with my sweaty hands. It would be nice if there was an included weight chart (maybe there is and i missed it) to make changes easier without having to do a lot of math. You can add 1" weight plates to this set, to increase the weight ranges. The bars are slightly smaller than 1", which means the 1" plate can shift (and startle you!) when you do renegade rows or similar pushup to dumbbell lift style exercise. I recently upgraded to some Eisenlink dumbbells, which I really like, but still use these at a lower weight to more easily move between exercises.
