Okay, Dad can READ the letters, numbers and suits but DOGGONE the CARDS ARE TINY!! For someone with arthritis or dexterity issues (can someone say, “old people”?) these cards are difficult to handle! WHY?!

The cards are great. You definitely can see them from across any table. They are high quality thickness. You can help deal with the slippery feel when you first get them by sprinkling a generous amount of plain baby powder on them and shuffling over and over for several minutes until they are good and coated and then shake off the baby powder. This works with any set of slick cards. We bought these for poker. They didn't work to well for that because the numbers are just too big. I plan to find cards that have just slightly larger numbers. It's just too hard to peek at your cards with the numbers this large when you're sitting at a crowded table. I still think they are good cards that would work for a lot of other games. ... show more

My father has very bad vision and had stopped playing cards because he couldn't see the images or the numbers. Then we found these large print cards that are the same size as regular playing cards. He's able to see them and is again enjoying his favorite past time and playing cards. He raves about these cards and has been a real plus for our family.     • Great cards, but got two decks with the same color backs.
The cards can be seen by my father who is legally blind due to his macular degeneration. It's great for him to be able to play. Only complaint is that I got two blue decks instead of one of each color. This makes them difficult to separate after being combined for a game requiring two decks.
