I love the exchanges of the different areas. It took a while to figure out how to use the product as it doesn't come with directions. So a heads up, the knobs has an inner button, push it and turn it left or right. When you release the button it locks the size in place. The pushpins has to be pinched in, which I thought was odd. I usually prefer just to push it through for easier removal. This product though, it gives you extra work to do with the way you have to place them on it. I do love the adjusting of the height. Hips. Shoulders. Neck. Buttocks etc. Although the buttocks area isn't realistic and the hips doesn't spread enough in my opinion. A bit expensive but thus far, has been worth the investment. ... show more

CONS: No casters - I thought by the picture that it had wheels. The assembly was difficult in that several of the dials were VERY hard to turn. I had to get a screw driver and wedge it against the dial to get the final one to turn. Follow the instructions, and turn each dial one click, all around the form, before increasing to a higher diameter on any one dial. The height adjustment for waist length is still stuck - simply will not rotate despite all the force I can generate. I just got dumb lucky that it is at the correct height for my body, and I am mainly using this dress form to sew for myself. I was trying to adjust it so my daughter, who is long-waisted, could also use the form. PROS: I was able to get all the expansions to match my hourglass figure (37.5 bust, 31.5 waist, 41.5 hips). I was a bit worried about this based on a review I read, but managed to adjust it well. I used the measurement just under my bust for the chest expansion, and then added some polyfill padding onto the "breasts" to come up with the final configuration. I had also bought a stretch cover for it, and the breast padding stays neatly in place under the cover. All in all, I'd buy it again. ... show more

The clamp that's supposed to secure the height (see picture) is not well designed and difficult to use. For usability: I could not get this clamp tight enoght to secure the height by hand-tightening the clamp. Solution was channel lock pliers usint a vey light touch. Be careful: the pliers will quickly make a mess of the plastic unltess you use them very gently. For the design fix: Even with the channel locks the clamp would not tighten down enough to keep the pole from sliding up and down. Inside the clamp there are four ears that are supposed to get a tighter hold on the pole as the clamp is tightened. They are not quite thick enough to firmly grip the pole, even at full tightness. To fix this, I cut small pieces of duct tape to fit on the ears, where they contact and squeeze the pole. This made the ears just a little "thicker", and made it so they firmly gripped the pole, and kept it from sliding up and down. We considered returning this item, but after looking at other choices available on Amazon, my wife felt this was as good as we'd get on Amazon. So we fixed it. This is my first dress form, therefore making a comparison to another one is not possible. However, I really like it so far. I've wanted one for a while and this one received the most positive number of reviews. I assembled it by myself, no issues, and set the measurements to my specific measurements, including the height. The height was the most challenging. My suggestion is to not rely on the dials for accuracy. Once you have set the dials, check it against your own measurement to ensure accuracy and adjust as needed. Looking forward to using it to make quite a few sewing projects. :-) ... show more

The form itself is great, but I really want to praize the seller for being responsive and helpful. I lost a crucial piece of the base and they were very quick to respond to my message and send out a replacement. It took a little while to arrive since it wasn't shipped with Prime, but I knew that would be the case going in and am totally satisfied with the whole process. As for the form, I've had a lot of bodily changes over the past few years and am very happy that I opted for a form that adjusts. With the adjustments it's been very true to my size.
