I needed a syringe to measure 5mL of fish oil for my dog. The bottle is large, and doesn't have any way to measure a dose other than pouring it out or using a syringe. I found these which were an awesome deal. They work great for this purpose. Each one is individually wrapped, which is fantastic. They work great for the fish oil. Eventually the oil will remove the markings (takes awhile though) and the rubber will not work from it, but then I just grab a new one. I don't typically rinse after each use, I just keep the syringe in the fridge beside the oil bottle. If I do rinse it, it's easy enough. Syringes have a lot of other uses. Note these do not have needles, nor will a needle fit on it, it's just the syringe. I've used them to squirt water or cleaner into small spaces to flush them out. Or to measure liquid plant food. Even other food measuring purposes. They're really useful to have around. They come in a box that stays closed so I can store them in my closet, grabbing one when I need it. Great buy. ... show more

I have to grind a pill into a liquid twice a day for my cat. These single use syringes are perfect. I use a half-teaspoon of strained Fancy Feast Broth with the pill and grind with a mortar and pestle. This syringe holds that amount easily. The cat has stopped objecting to taking his medicine now that I use these fairly small syringes and just squirt the liquid into his mouth. I've very pleased with these syringes to help administer the supplements I liquify and give to one of our cats twice daily. They hold up well allowing multiple uses which is nice and actually what I look for in a syringe.
