    • Amazing all around tire at a good price!
First, they really do look quite attractive and sporty, even come quite shiny when new, so that is a little bonus. Honestly the best all-around tire I've ever had, handles every category of use 4-4.5 out of 5, except as winter tire and then it's only a 3 out of 5 compared to the best winter tire but among the best UHP all seasons for winter if you are careful. Edit: Now that I have driven in snow and ice with them, they are definitely passable for light snow and even ice on flat surfaces, especially with AWD if you are careful. Dry grip and cornering is a solid 4-4.5/5 compared to the best summer tires, wet/rain/hydroplaning 4.5/5 out of the very best, comfort and noise 4 out of 5 compared to the most comfortable touring tire. Perfect all year tire if you drive "sporty", like at like 8/10th's on twisty roads for fun (not for track days going 10/10), and if you live where there is mild-ish winters. Handles cold heavy rain like a champ while still comfortable and not getting hard like summer tires. Very confidence inspiring and premium feeling, they feel better/more comfortable overall than the more expensive Pilot Sport A/S 3's I had before - although the newer 4's may be improved over the 3 - and while those do have a tiny bit more dry grip overall, these just feel more stable and less harsh while costing a good 15% less. These actually tie with the Michelin Pilot 4 A/S on Consumer Reports for the best UHP all season, so it shows average people really like them. And when BFG is also owned by Michelin and has the same instant rebate deals at the same time at tire stores, these will always have the price advantage. ... show more
